Unless its tied to a video screen/game, unfortunately. 90% of U.S. kids don't know what it's like to get a pickup game going outdoors. They're all tied up, glued to their cellphones/computers etc. Obese and diabetic by the time they turn eighteen.

I saw a documentary a while back, how this one nonprofit organization was successfully bringing internet access to indigenous communities that live tucked away in rain forests and mountainsides. In back of my mind I wondered how much of their physical activities would suddenly become curtailed simply by bringing these people into the technology world. At the end of the video it shows the whole family sitting in a tent watching a computer screen, the organizers obviously proud of their achievements. I didn't share the same enthusiasm knowing the major side effects of physical inactivity from sitting, glued to a screen.
This is what kids do and the best talent from around the world earn their way to the major leagues. It would be harder for this guy to succeed at the top level, but I wouldn't doubt myself either.

I’m sure it’s heartwarming for people who see this as some movie of the week, but all he’s doing is setting the stage to develop some very bad habits by repeatedly throwing bricks of varying weight. For people who bring up weighted ball training, that’s completely different. In that case you work your way up or down with several reps of the same weight as you go. He’s all over the place with vast differences, that’s a prescription for screwing up your arm action and building bad muscle memory for your release point.
