I am :58 seconds into this video, first time viewer, and I looked up to see how many subs you have and I am shocked. Great intro and scene transitions so far!
By far being able to work on and fix your own problems!! If you rely on taking it back to dealer you will never be on the road!!Last week the a/c motor went. Esay fix and 100$ on amazon, but for some 1000$ and dealer for weeks!!
There are always problems popping up! If you weren't handy before, this life will definitely make you handy! Glad you are able to get some better deals than what you'd get heading in to a RV shop!
As a full timer, you really need internet redundancy if you're like me and work on the road. I have TMO, ATT, VZ, and Starlink. I rarely am without connectivity.
@@theroamingrussells I don't have a wifi booster because I never use public wifi. I do have a cell booster, and it does work great in certain instances. I rarely need it now though since most of the time I use Starlink.
We use Starlink Roam for our internet! I discuss the issues we had with it a bit further in our last video, about Cape Blanco, if you want to check that out. Cheers!
I’m not sure why you feel your over weight. Your CGVW should be 23,500 lbs if not more. Your steer axle and drive axle are under axle ratings. My 30’ 5th wheel has two 6k axles and I would think your 5th wheel has two 6k axles. My heaviest trailer axle weight we recorded was 10k and your axle weight of 11,160 is well under 12k trailer axle weight.
Your 30' 5th wheel has beefier axels than we do! Lol. Ours are only 5.5k. Pretty nuts they would manufacture an RV with such a low weight rating including cargo. Probably something I should make a video on - who knew you could buy an RV that can't even "safely" go down the road completely empty with its tanks full (because it would be too heavy). Makes no sense in the slightest to me having a CCC so low. Thank you for watching and commenting!
The challenges are real, but the payoff is so worth it!!! Safe travels kids!
That they are! I wouldn't trade it for anything. Safe travels to you too! Maybe we'll run into you one of these days

Wow, thank you! Such wonderful feedback to hear! I try hard to make them seamless.

Just found your channel, one of the best- from future full timers
Wow, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy our channel! When do you plan on hitting the road?
When house sales@@theroamingrussells
Fingers crossed for your house sale! And I hope you love being on the road!
Living in a van by myself is the easiest life I've ever had in 60 years!..by far!
There is a simplicity that can't be denied. I'm loving this time of life too :). Glad you are!
Very interesting 😮
Some things you never would have thought about, eh? :)

Yep, I agree! We've thought about getting a wifi booster to help amplify our Mifi signal if it's kind of low. Ever used one of them?

awesome video
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it!
Shouldn't be that bad in a luxury apartment on wheels !
Haha, it isn't that bad. This video outlined negative sides to RVing. I recommend a rewatch if you missed the content! Safe travels!
Thanks for the info. Can you please share your internet provider?

How many watts of solar do you have and what is your inverter? Thanks
We have 1200 Watts of solar, the Victron Multiplus II, and 400 amp hrs of lithium. We have been very happy with this set up!

@ Wow. I seen and heard of trailers not having rated axles matching trailer GVWR. Good Luck and safe travels. You’re at least on top of it and aware.
that music is so annoying
Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved it all! I can't believe people sometimes....smh
Haters gunna hate. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Only if you don't like it.😂😂
Haha, I agree! I personally think the challenges are worth it, but I know people who have decided they aren't.
