It's okay for a base model coupe, but you'll kind of wish you spent just a few hundred dollars more for the Sport trim instead of this, which gives you more than enough upgrades to the base model to be worth the extra money if you can find one.
I think people need to evaluate the buyer Honda is trying to attract. I'll be disappointed if Doug DeMuro reviewed this car and gave it a controversial "Doug Score" because his standards are based on the high end exotics and exclusive luxury cars he reviews on a regular. A college student that attends Los Angles State or Pepperdine University in Malibu is the market. This isn't a Corvette C8, Mustang GT500, Bentley Continental GT, or Ferrari F8 Tributo. Not everyone are into BMW's or cars of that caliber. It's a Civic coupe for commuting and a lot of people are going to buy them. Are there better cars out there even pre-owned? Yes, of course. Car runs great on regular gas, the insurance will be low, maintenance isn't a lot, it's a good car what it is.
ya know I wanted a new civic or accord but my 2008 tsx has more horsepower and when daily driving it im able to blow past this 10th gen civic with ease even when racing I don't understand why the 2.0L is only making 158 when back in the day they were putting out similar numbers and sometimes closer to 200 on special models and the 1.5 turbo is even worse love the reliability but Honda new to make the new stuff exciting most people don't have money for a type r or there marked up like crazy.

I'm digging the design. A Civic just isn't a Civic if its not a hatchback.
This looks great for a cheap car, in my opinion 😅 I would definitely consider buying this as a first car 😁 having a back up camera is better than nothing 🤷♀️ however, a blind spot indicator would be nice to have in this 🤷♀️
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one.
Honda civic LX affordable amazing
Might as well be looking out the back with a parascope 😂
I ordered a 2021 Bentley Bentayga fully loaded 183,000.oo USD I can drive down to Florida if you ever want to shoot a report on it, delivery is August 21st.
Sounds good Tony!
I'm convinced every Civic coupe comes from Tampa Honda
Never clicks o freaking fast I thought my eyes were bugging when I see that beautiful 2 door coupe 😩😭🤤🙏🏻🔥💧💦
I am so glad that you like this one.
Not bad but I prefer the sedan. I would have to go with a higher trim level and get a few more goodies. All in all not bad. I feel you on the CVT transmission but it's okay as a daily driver. Thanks Joe your the best.
You are so very welcome Rodney.
No guy wants to say they only have 5 inches. That is a zonk!
AGREED!
Put in a sun roof and I'm sold
Weird how in Canada the Lx trim gets upgraded 7inch screen with CarPlay and android auto
You didnt mention bluetooth
You can have your Twinkie and eat it too.
But you'll have to suffer the slings and arrows of the CVT.
I’m here to find out how much Candy I can put into the Glove Box
Thanks man for stopping by1
Raiti's Rides Thank You Joe for the great review 👍
Love the body, the rims not so much.
Rims are easily changed! 😉👍🏻
For an LX base model though? They’re much better than plastic wheel covers. I’d use them in the winter.
hard like japanese stone ha ha you good joe
Thanks for letting me share some laughs with you.
It's okay for a base model coupe, but you'll kind of wish you spent just a few hundred dollars more for the Sport trim instead of this, which gives you more than enough upgrades to the base model to be worth the extra money if you can find one.
Absolutely. And you can get the Sport with a manual transmission
Looks as big as my 15 accord.
This is probably true!
is it possible to upgrade the infotainment system to a larger screen or model?
his commentary has me weak. 😹 nice video. lol
Very good points!
ya know I wanted a new civic or accord but my 2008 tsx has more horsepower and when daily driving it im able to blow past this 10th gen civic with ease even when racing I don't understand why the 2.0L is only making 158 when back in the day they were putting out similar numbers and sometimes closer to 200 on special models and the 1.5 turbo is even worse love the reliability but Honda new to make the new stuff exciting most people don't have money for a type r or there marked up like crazy.
Any idea when the 2021 Honda civic coupe ex comes out?
You made history because Honda is discontinuing their Civic Coupe models for 2021 going forward. Covered by Motortrend, HondaProJason and other sources.
Quoting Ratti “The CVT” destroys the experience! The CVT “SUCKS”
It does.
