Only just seen this video. That's quite a stable you have there. I just don't have the space for that many bikes to be stored inside, I have my daily ride, An 02 600 Suzuki Bandit, an 81 CB 650 Custom awaiting refreshing and the Z440 Tracker project. I have to pull the Bandit out just to get in my workshop so most of my cutting and welding has to be done outside so as not to set light to the place.
They are a great bike, they are kinda sold as a commuter bike but I think they are so much more. At 80 HP my 600 is plenty fast enough,a bit heavy but you can still throw it around. I have put wide Renthal street fighter bars on mine due to Lower back and neck problems, it gives me a more upright sitting position. to me the 600 is like a small Muscle Bike. I would like to go up to a Yamaha XJR 1300 but not the new one, I have seen one and sat on one at a recent show and although it looks quite cool it is actually not so good. I don't know if you have the same models in the US?
+GRUMPY In the 80s, we had the xj. it was a small to mid size cruiser. I had the xj650 maxim when i was 19. It was a good bike, but I didn't have the mechanical knowledge to keep it on the road at the time. A friend of mine has one now and rides the wheels off it! The new European models look like more of a standard/sport bike, nothing like what we had.
I like the garage and all the bikes. There was a little too much camera movement though. I assume most of the future videos will be done with a tripod so it won't be an issue. I thought one of your first projects was going to be the dual sport KLR though. You didn't even show that one. Good work on the editing. I really enjoyed the whole thing and look forward to following all the rest of your videos.
Seriously... So awesome. Can't wait to see the s40 project.

GRUMPY How do you like the Bandit? I see them around my area for sale at very reasonable prices. It is getting hard to ignore them.
