Cant believe this only has 7k views. Amazing to see passionate modders still working on driver San Francisco. Shows you how great the community around the game really is. Nice work on the Mod. Ill definetly play through the whole thing after my 100% of the game!

Be advised that there seems to be some potential issues with DNGHook that may causes crashes on the Exposition/Chapter 1, so it might be a good idea to hold of 'till ye hit Chapter 2.

man olanov gonna make me cry he probs gonna narrate for a gameplay trailer of one of Ubisoft's game.
The police pursuit mouthed setting in this reminds me alot like Need for speeds police response units like the Rhino head-on collision with a SWAT truck and the dispatching of police SUVs to stop a reckless driver because there basically moveing road blocks or speed enforcement /Corvettes to catch up to a spending target
NFS is what it was more or less inspired by. More recently perhaps the heat levels.
@@Olanov i still love it but i do prefer vanilla game play instead mods are interesting and yes it is pretty similar to NFS

@@Trigger719 Project Alcatraz by Soapy allows one to connect to his servers at the current time, as well as the DSF servers, though I'm not sure if the latter works on a pirated copy.

as someone playing this game in 2022, i'm just mad i didn't find these mods earlier. amazing stuff, driver SF was like a stone's throw away from being an all-time great. i'm still not 100% a fan of the handling, but these mods really really elevate the experience. cheers!

Bit ahead of you there, tho it's not SWAT exactly (SFPD doesn't employ SWAT). Chances are it won't be coming out any time soon though as I'm way too busy with other things.
The mod is definitely excellent yes but what is the most appealing about this video is your narration. You speak quite clearly, you use great vocabulary, you also speak with a varied amount of tones and thats stunning to see. With things in mind and generally when watching the video, the quality of narration is very professionally made and it gives me the same vibe as watching a gameplay trailer from a Triple A studio.
Keep up the voice work and modding Olanov, you're great at it and it'll help you improve further. 👍

Yeah, as we're unable to add unique cars with texture replacements figured it's as good as substitute as any. The model is based off Bearcats anyhow.
It might be interesting, if the billboards could be tweaked & occasionally changed. I know the ability exists, since they became advertisements for the movie "Immortals" at one point. The cops are already aggressive and relentless. I can't imagine the Bubba mission, with prison vans.
As the name somewhat implies, Felony Rework police have had a total overhaul and they are no longer like those in the vanilla game, particularly due to the majorly reduced and even removed rubberbanding.
Unfortunately the billboard system is severly limited through simply Lua, without reverse-engineering (hard due to the beta symbols not including them) and further tools. We can't really do much with them at this time, especially regarding custom advertisements.
@@Olanov I will have to check into that. To me, this game has such tremendous replay value. Since I first got it, I've pretty much played through the story every year. It's the only one left, that I still do that with, though I may eventually revisit NFSU 2.

Car replacements or add-ons are not a thing, but I have released the Monaco modification a while back.

I like how you improve the game. I want to ask one small question. Will the system of road closures be implemented in the game, and in general, is it possible?
It's something that might be possible in theory but very difficult, so I have no plans for it at this time. I am also on a hiatus with DSF modding, currently focusing my efforts on Watch Dogs 1.
Does this mod add the extra vehicles to the garage by any chance? ASYM, Vanishing Point Challenger, etc? Or do I need a separate mod for that?

Yup! It includes some modified files of the main missions in fact, tweaks some of them.
my game is crashing, it won't start the game at all.
When exactly does it crash? Before main menu or loading into free drive/campaign? Is it a hang up or straight up CTD?
@@Olanov It crashes when I load my save, but it does not crash when I start a new game but upon exiting the game then loading it back in it crashes again.
I tried multiple solutions and what worked was deleting the snoopy mod menu altogether. However, when I deleted the file UserLua of Snoopy Mod, it worked but now it crashes the extra events of Felony Mod. It does start but when I finish the events it crashes it altogeher plus the name of the event doesn't show up. it is simple a blank space.
Is this supposed to be realistic? Like what IRL police do?
Not exactly, but closer! DSF's AI inherently has some limitations but I have tried to make them bit more realistic, in terms of numbers and response times, so they don't just flood you. They still have some cinematic flavor.

@@mossthefox If it's a heavy weight truck type of vehicle or an exotic one, the cars will vary from "SWAT" trucks to Corvette interceptors, along with all the regular squad cars still partaking.

As I exclaimed previously, no testing has been conducted on a cracked copy so I cannot verify that, but in theory the mods should not interfere.

Maybe one could consider it a virus, if somebody finds the changes the mod does to be ruining their video game experience.

@@Malika-kg4ji At most, maybe DNGHook, the .dll files would get detected as false positive but I haven't had that happen and there aren't any executables.
I don't mean to be rude, but stop to consider that somebody with the intention of trying to get you to download a virus would say the same thing in response, as somebody with good intentions. That is to say, they would try to lie to you to get to download their virus.
I would suggest you take a look around and look at the other comments, see if it looks legit or not. If that doesn't convince you, running it in a virtual machine is always an option.
I can always say it's not a virus, which it's not, but folks who actually try to get people to download viruses would just say the same thing. :X
