Hello from France ! I’ve had two babies here (one also in the states) and 7 hours of pelvic floor therapy is completely systematic for all mothers and completely free! For my second child it was a PT and my third child is was a midwife (here they are more like PA). Anyway, it saves tons of money by preventing more serious conditions later on. But we are socialist...what do we know.
Thank you for this! YES, I am hopeful this will become standard in the US sometime in the future. Because you are right, it saves so much money (and pain and discomfort and general life disruption) as preventative care! This is why so many of us are in healthcare and fitness are speaking out.
