I just drew all of those figures only once and I can feel the change in my lines already! Wow, with consistency I am positive that my skills would definitely improve! Those tips you shared are so helpful.
I'm a charcoal pencil artist and I enjoy your tips. My friends all think there's some type of magic with art and you're either gifted or you're not. Hopefully your tips will encourage more people to try.
I have been a trumpet player for many, many years. I studied with a teacher many years ago who would not allow me to stop and start playing when I was playing an exercise for him. The continuous playing made my playing much more Musical and fluid. This man is the same.. I wish that I could study drawing with him. Thank you.
There is something soothing, hypnotic, yet lowkey evil about the way you say GUUUUD Like I'm lying on a couch, its relaxing, reassuring, you say GUUUUD, I drift off into sleep. BAM, wake up, no kidneys!
Absolutely, definitely, totally, completely AMAZING! I have never felt so good and peaceful while drawing!!! YOU ARE A SAVIOR AND THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!!!
Great video! I wish my old art teachers could explain the difference between 'good sketchy' and 'bad sketchy' like this. I wish I sounded as cool speaking Spanish as this guy does speaking English! And just for a second, I heard 'futuristic bagel' instead of 'futuristic vehicle'. A bagel would be a good way to practice ellipses! Keep up the good work dude! This really helped me! Thanks!

I use this video for my 13 and 14 year old design students. Excellent tips for free style drawing! Thank you sir!
you are hell of a great teacher really.. Hats off to you and your amazing content...Wow...any novice or amateur or beginner can just see your videos and improve their drawing skills. You were made for this.
I'm definitely gonna try this out. I work in pencil at the moment, so I draw the shorter lines like he did in the beginning, but I do it lightly and then I go over it harder for the actual, then continuous, line and erase the light 'fluff'.
I'm glad you liked it. And it is not that you can only move the arm from your shoulder and everything else needs to be still. But it is a good practice to move the whole arm. Of course, your elbow and wrist will also move a little bit as needed, especially when doing shorted lines.
Good exercise and FANTASTIC ACCENT!. As I have been learning the last few years I like combining this and then encircle the lines with small orbs trying to keep centered and follow the flow.
I taught these methods to myself when I was young, I'm so thrilled to see Others Teaching and Learning these practice sketch techniques!! You're the perfect teacher, you're voice is soft and continuous like your Lines!!!
thank you! Love the exersices You know what I noticed? The art professionals have a hard time drawing beginners' sketchy lines. Though I past the beginner's stage, once in a while I catch myself using short hairy lines, and they make me smile
Great video! I've always wondered why I have so much trouble getting my drawings to look finished and polished no matter how much I improve. This has made me realize that I'm using the technique you showed at the beginning and that I need to practice utilizing my whole arm instead of just my hand.
I drew along with the video hitting the left arrow key throughout because he's so quick lol. I noticed some positive changes in my lines especially my ellipses, thanks!
Thank you for all this great help. So I’m looking at a lot of these art tutorials and they seem to focus on technique - a lot of cartooning or handling of materials for an effect. In other words they are helping you (me) to draw or paint a better picture. Excellent. So now you have something that you might be able to sell. But the thing I find lacking is the importance of observation. Looking out at things and connecting with the outside world physically through art. I think we need to spend more time looking at the physical, natural world to become more real through our art. When I draw or paint from a photo of a tree it looks like a picture of a photo. I appreciate all the instruction, the humor, the clever tips, but I want to be absorbed by nature, not so much by my device.
There are people that are really good at making series of short lines especially if they also shade with the pencil so if you draw like this you don't *have* to change your style just consider it
Wow! I never understood why my drawings looked so stiff, until I saw this video. Even past art teachers never critiqued me on jagged sketching, because I always got the basic elements down.
where has this channel been? I have been looking for such a awesome channel as this in a long time. this is like bob ross but instead of painting its drawing. instructer is clear explination n has asmr vibes very soothing to listen n watch. :)
Oh boy, I see now how my lines lack confidence. I never go for a full line without stopping, unless I have a pencil outline or something. My imagination has also gone to shit in recent years, I realised I can't even come up with simple design features anymore.
I know this is from a few months ago but if you really want to draw and don't know what to draw, just draw basic shapes or work on techniques instead of an actual purposeful drawing. Something will come to you eventually and if it doesn't at that moment in time, you still worked on your technique
A tip: Observe and draw nature. Just choose the nearest random plant, or rock with ridges. Then, infuse the scene with imagination, maybe a castle in the background with the plant at the very front. Or valleys with mist. You can choose from genres like mideveal or autumn. Then add a futuristic jet in the sky?? Idk, just random stuff stimulates the imagination. Then you can form ideas from the randomness. Maybe the futuristic jet is on a new planet to document new species--draw weird plants. Getting started can be tough but just adding more and more things to the first works.
I'd love to see these principals applied to something boxy, like modern architecture. I'm currently studying to become an architect ad it would be interesting to see how these ideas apply to something inherently stiff
O my god, this man is so freaking calming...
It's like an ASMR video.
Ever heard the narrator in TED-ed?
Not the level of Bob Ross though. Bob Ross is the best ASMR.
isnt it.
His voice is so fluid and continuous as his drawing. That gives me desires to draw.
"Smooth Linessssssssssssssssssss"
GUUUUUUUUUUDEH
“... and let’s have some holes 🕳!!!”
Continuous linessss. Like thissssss
And noht de bluuurd

Happy litte smooth line here.... that's right. Make it smooth and long. Let it flow. HAHA
Did feel a little Rossy
@@ikannunaplays More than just a little. This could have been a companion program to Bob's show.
Came for the lesson, stayed for the ASMR. So relaxing
was thinking the same.. his voice and the audio made the video so soothing
Yep
He should read for children's Bedtime Audio Books. . .
Artur Gaudenzi Luzardo tbh thought it might b nice to sleep to
is ASMR a fetish?

Any improvements?
I could listen to this guy for hours. Just put this on repeat and fall asleep to it. Such a soothing voice and calm demeanor. Instant sub.
This is where you realize that you don't really need to be "super creative" to practice your drawing. What a great tutorial! Thanks!
I love how calm and peaceful you are not like everyone else who tries to be funny or quirky

The best thing about this exercise video is it gets to the point so you can go practice. Short and to the point.

Love it how easy and quiet he explains the things!
"Goooooddddd".... I'll hear that in my head every time I make a decent line for the rest of my life.
You know this artist is a master at what he does when he makes it look so easy.
I'm definitely gonna try this out. I work in pencil at the moment, so I draw the shorter lines like he did in the beginning, but I do it lightly and then I go over it harder for the actual, then continuous, line and erase the light 'fluff'.

you have beautiful lines, i can tell how much hard work you put in just by you drawing them
Had to *favorite* this.
I can still imagine him screaming as he watches me draw a wonky stick figure.
Man...what could possibly anger a man of this composure?
@@martk647 Have you seen my stick figures?
“No not very geuud! You call that a stick figuere!?!? I’ve made straighter lines with my pee pee!”

you know what else is smooth sir? your voice
I already wanted some exercises to improve my drawing and after watching this video my thinking is over. A very helpful video.
This was very helpful. I started taking drawing classes last year and the technique shown here will help me improve.
I wish I had this voice. I would book to my kids every night.
Great video I learned alot. Thanks for the tips.
i was always getting challenges in drawing but because of this class now i can get smooth lines

I like the way he talks. Its like he's hypnotizing me to draw
Wow this was amazing and so enriching. thank you Mr Pereznieto. How Brilliant.
Excellent advice. The one thing I miss in doing digital drawing, is being able to put my arm into my at, instead of just drawing with the wrist, etc.
Nice, it looks simple and the explanation was great, not boring artsy words or stuff I don't know
Woooho ho... Soooo smooth relaxing soothing so indescribable! .. Thanks 😍😭😭
