I wanted to ask you, is Penmen united company good for oblique pen holder, as in Dubai i am unable to find the Michael Sull pen holder?
Or which other company you prefer?

I have a Speedball oblique holder and I can attest to the digging in problem. I had to adjust the way I hold it to drop the nib angle. It works, but it's far from ideal. I might by something better soon from Paperink Arts. $25 is a nice mid-range price for me. Either that or start learning how to do copperplate with the straight holder I already have.

I didn't really understand what you meant by angle. Did you mean from the body and the outside of the flange? Or some other line?
