I agree with everything except the one about sharing your faith. Like you rightly said people are different and for some this might be a way people evangelise. For example I love Mazino Malaka because of the subtle way she shares her faith and it’s inspiring for me.
Just the way people watch lifestyle influencers on maybe ways to improve their physical fitness, wellbeing and so on. They can also watch / follow these Christian influencers on how to grow in their faith or spiritual journey because Christianity is a way of life after all.

As one who is married and works in tech... I agree with everything that was said in this video 😅😂. Like i couldn't agree more. I'd say this tho, I think we definitely need more christian content but as Lucy said, we dont need to know everything that's going on between you and God, we just need people that pretty much speak of the goodness of God in their lives, their struggles, etc. The devil is utilising social media very well in our days and we need childred of God to speak up as well. I agreed with all your opinions except one; sharing your relationship with God. A short clip on prayer time and bible study is not bad. It acts as a reminder to some people to stop and Pray or Read the Bible. A true christian will not video her entire prayer session; its a sacred moment between her and her CREATOR.
However, In-depth personal stuffs with God should be kept personal; all depends on the individual.
My true opinion.
Tbh, when people become in tune with their faith, its hard for them not to bring it up all the time. It becomes like their glasses by which they view everything and they can't stop talking about it. Kamsi is right. Everyone's different. I feel you didn't agree with that point 100. With the way she asked you the question, she hardly gave you room to negate.

Its the back ground for me, it makes me relaxed! The conversation is definitely something to address, bc the world we live in, peer pressure, or social media has taken over. This causes people to want or desire to live a lifestyle they may not be able to afford. Now let me add to that, you can become a business owner, or be an influencer, or if you can sing or have other talent, cooking etc. I do feel you can achieve on those same levels in life with consistency and platforms and other resources. The point is being content with where your at, but while working to get in a better position, you do not have to settle but dont be so hard on yourself if you dont reach your destination or purpose as quick as someone else. Focus on yourself, self love, self-awareness, is very important.

I love this video, i agree with every opinion except one; sharing your relationship with God.
My personal opinion in sharing your christian journey is like sharing your facial routine, what you do in order to have your face look so good? But the way your routine works for your skin will not be the same way it will work on mine. Some compoments i will have to do away with because my skin is different from yours. But you putting out that routine is to inspire someone to take care of theirs and not neglect it.
Someone sharing their christian journey is not trying to impose that on you but to inspire you to pursue God in all that you do, but like the skin care, the routine i share with you will not be the same as your routine at the level of intimacy you have with God. It is just there to inspire you to actively seek Him in the lifesfyle you have chosen to pursue.
Sadly there are some youtubers that have chosen to make this a trend but God can never be a trend, for the fruit beared will determine that which is being natured in the secret place with Him. And also while men slept, the theif came and throw tares into the field containing the good seed and non could tell which was good and which was not. They grew together. But weeds have their roots at the surface.

I love this video! I literally agree with all these points. Social media has us confused. Why I limit my time on IG and it’s the only social network I use! I can’t keep up lol. Another unpopular opinion is you have to own a home or your “wasting money”. Renting does not mean your broke! Social media glamorizes so many unrealistic standards. I don't think there's anything wrong with sharing your relationship and growth with God to encourage others to build that relationship.
A relationship with God is a lifestyle and sometimes it just reflects even without you going into details about it.
Testimonies are important to build faith.
For context, we would not know anything about building a relationship with God if the disciples and apostles in the Bible did not share.
But, we should draw the line at sharing your personal, intimate relations with God (prayer, fellowship, devotion etc). Somethings are intimate and sacred and should never be shared.
If the apostles were alive today in this era of social media and basically online things. And If Peter and the other disciples were online do you believe that Peter will “limit” his messages, devotions etc while doing the work of Christ? 😇 just wondering
No. Why will you limit your message because of social media? That's absurd. What is not absurd though, is choosing to keep intimate things intimate, and not putting a camera in your face to record private times of devotion. That's normal.
Will Peter and the apostles teach us how to build a solid devotion? Yes, it's all over the Bible.
They sure wouldn't desecrate the intimacy of their personal devotions with a camera. Let's tell ourselves the truth 🤣🤣

I agree with a lot of what was said except the "sharing your faith" aspect. Everyone is different like you said, and we must also take factors like environment, age and generation into consideration. Nowadays with Gen z's, a lot want to share about their faith, to help other Gen z's and continue to be a "light". With the rise of wicked things going on, on social media, especially Tiktok, this can be a way for young Christians to take up space. Additionally, some people are "madly" in love with God; some may have never had a trace of Christianity in their families and when they encounter "Truth" they want to share it with the whole world. Also, I don't believe all who do share, share "everything". Ultimately, the rise of this "trend" has helped many become less ashamed of their Faith, which is a positive thing. There's actually a lot more advantages to this than disadvantages, so I don't believe that this should even be considered a "turn off". However, I'm glad that you said that these were just opinions. God wants his message to reach people, and if Christians make vlogs, blogs etc about it then good. And whoever is doing so with social attention will have the most high to answer to. I think tiktok kinda broke that perfect house aesthetic stereotype. People shoot entertaining contents in their “trenches” homes and still get a lot of engagements. Yes but I find it’s the extremes that seem to do very well on there. It’s either your house is absolutely gorgeous or it’s the complete opposite. There are still a lot of people caught in the middle and blame it on their home not being aesthetic enough. So this was just a reminder to do it anyway

But i have issues with the christian content issue.. I mean alot of persons make content about what they stand for. Personally Christian contents have helped me as a Christian so why tune it down when we are in a noisy world. Believers need to loud their convictions on social media..
Jesus did say many will reject him. Now the children of God who have more confidence in sharing his words, messages, growth and presence is now seen as a burden and should be shamed.
