Hey guys i should have mentioned this earlier but thienbao's fegk is soo much better than al's fegk. at the time i didnt know thienbao had a version and while al's isnt bad its old. so here it is, it has non viewmodel, viewmodel, and a custom nonviewmodel knife kit but its hard to make it work. theinbao made a tutorial on his knife kit and just know that you have to plug in all animations for the knife before it can work. create.roblox.com/store/asset/1351145410/Thienbao2109s-FE-Weapon-Kit?keyword=thienbao&pageNumber=1&pagePosition=0
PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL OF THE NAMES ARE THE SAME. This includes the tool name, viewmodel name (with v_), and the settings folder are named the same. If even one of the letters are different, the gun will not work!
It is recommended that you have decent roblox studio knowledge before you operate any gun kit. If you just started roblox studio and experience bugs when it comes to any gun kit, try playing around with easier things instead and maybe in the future try fegk and you will find it much easier to operate.
Ammo box: I forgot to put this in the video but if your ammo boxes does not work, inside the ammo box is a script. and inside the script has a list of gun names and every time you make a new gun, you have to put your gun name inside that script for the ammo box to work.
@@Dadawen69 no i meant have multiple weapons in different slot cuz i wanted to make a shotgun and a revolver but it didn't work and i think that the script was just colliding
@@bridou69 Oh FE works fine with multiple weapons. If only can use 1 weapon then its a horrible gun kit lol. Its not the scripts colliding. does either work? like does it shoot, can the viewmodel be seen?

Best i can recommend is just to mess around with it. battery charging and overheat is just for the minigun/ or railguns. Different sights is easy, just add it to your gun model. bullet trails can be changed somewhere in the viewmodel or replicated storage but i forgot. Im not sure what debuffs are like weakness after you hit a shot? that is something that you need extra scripting to do lol. and bullet trail damage is smt idk. there is alot to fegk :(
Ight so before i get more comments saying that the files in the video arent the same as the ones in your roblox studio (just to clarify since i already gotten 723 comments) recently fegk owner decided to private fegk model for reason i dont know. This means you cant find it anywhere even in toolbox. And so the best alternative i have is Al's fegk. Now if you have fegk earlier before it got private then nice. I have it still but i cant get on roblox studio. Al's FEGK is just an older version of the fegk and honestly barely anything changed. this video probably doesnt work as well but i do have an older fegk tutorial on my channel. No one probably cares but if you are stuck then watch that one instead. Thx for reading ig
hey there's a weird bug happening with the kit, when a player dies and respawns, the weapons stop working completely do you know how to fix it? edit: i looked deeper and it has something to do with a ragdoll model, the kit works prefectly when I disable the ragdoll script
@@Jerez.mp4 Sorry for replying so late, i completely forgot about this comment. anyways since you found out that the ragdoll script is causing the problem, just use another ragdoll script that works with fegk.
Fun fact: The reason why Fe cant be seen is because roblox moderation deleted it from what I heard... But I think you can still get it if you saved a gun that has that specific gun kit model.

Since this video's pretty recent, I'm trying to fix this odd bug where upon pressing C your character slides off into the distance with no reason whatsoever. I suspect it may be due to a conflict in the animations but I highly doubt it.
I recommend you simply delete the stances script and replace it with another model that basically does the same thing. Its basically suppose to be a crouch system but there are wayy better ones out there so yeah.
this is a common bug but i dont know what is going on exactly to fix this since i dont have too much details. i would recommend discord (dadawen#0315) but i cant gaurentee that i can fix it
I was wodering how to make the gun melee? there is a section for making the gun do a melee attack by pressing H but, when i melee it works once and then the gun cant shoot or melee.
oh well if the fire effect is going on without even firing that means there must be an error. Ignore all the "cant load animation" errors. in just saying that if this happens then its probably an error but i cant be sure@@Marcus0211-c1b
You can definitely select them all at once, but the things (idk what to call them) would go into a random part. i mean it works fine like that but i recommend it go into handle for easier time animating
sorry for the false fix but i found out why the gun keeps glitching and getting stuck on ground so you have to remove every rig from the handle and then use tool grip . when you are done rig the parts with the handle again sorry for that last false fix
So to add a watch, just find the model and rig that model to the right (or left) arm. If there are multiple parts, just put every part into another part inside the model and rig everything in it. If it sound confusing just lmk. For the first time equip animation, it is inside the script called "1" and if you search for it, you should find it
attachments, u just rig the model of it to your viewmodel. just rig it to handle. if you want a button that adds the attachemnt when someone clicks on it then i tried and i failed so D:
Ok, well the problem is still inside the viewmodel so highlight over every single part inside the viewmodel and if anyone of those parts are anchored or collideable, it will glitch. If that doesn't work lmk

I'm stuck at 9:51. Everytime i paste my id and press play, it still the default anim. And for some reason my character have 3 arms. (doing an first person game, but even if i'm on third, it doesn't show the anims).
The only thing i can think of it not working is that the animation prioity is still set to core. Change it to action or movement, if that isn't the case, then i have no idea. the 3 arms is odd, did you add any scripts into your game that makes third person arms visible in first person?
I have a problem, i made a gun except the reload doesnt play? It is in the right place, VManimation, and the right id but it just doesnt play the animation.
My viewmodel's animations seem to blend and the animations I make end up looking weird and contorted in game (probably because of Roblox's horrible animation update in November). How do I fix this issue? I've tried the custom boolean workaround under Workspace properties named 'RbxLegacyAnimationBlending' but it only made the problem worse.
Alright so i had same problem for a while too but dont exactly know how to solve this problem but from what i researched, yeah one is disabling "RbxLegacyAnimationBlending" and the other is changing your gun priority to something else. In the video I mentioned to set it to action but try setting it to movement or idle to see if it works better. (dont do core it will not work). If it doesn't then idk :(

Oh boy! did you animate it? or does the viewmodel already looks like that? If in roblox studio, the gun is turning to right then in editing mode then it will look like taht when you play it unless you exported an animation for it
im sorry for like 3 comments but ive got like 4 comments saying that when you press C, you just fall to the ground and cant move. this is caused by the stances script inside starterplayerscripts or startercharacterscripts its bugged and outdated so you just delete it and find another crouch script that actually works. Anyways there was just too many repeating comments so.

the gun in 3rd person shoots perfectly, but when i zoom into first person the gun doesnt work anymore. I tried to look at the console and it says "attempt to index nil with 'WorldPosition'"
uh this is odd uhm. try using the tool grip plugin and see if you can move the gun to the hand. if its not that then you simply didn't rig the gun model in the tool. that is all i can think of
try seaching up some videos about that. im not too familiar with the recoil in this gun kit. I might make a tutorial on the recoil for it. For now, look in Devforums or search up other yt tutorials to see if there is any on fegk recoil
pretty helpful but how do you set the arms to custom like you get a very detailed one for example, like a phantom forces viewmodel arms how do you use the phantom forces model instead of your own custom arms
I’ve been struggling to find a good tutorial recently on using the original version of FE Gun Kit (by thienbao) instead of the viewmodel file version, using this version allows me to use r6 anims for the viewmodel instead of having to reanimate for the “v_” thing. Everything like animations, variable editing for the guns only works, but in order to add melee kit thienbao has, theres a very hard and complex way of transferring code from his melee kit to the gun kit’s scripts. This causes the melee to break when even the slightest mistake happens, I cant seem to use yours as it also relies on the “v_” files. Please help in any way possible.
From 8:33 to 8:47, I followed the procedure correctly, but it seems different from the video. In the animation editing screen, the following part is affected by multiple Motor6Ds: RightHand. help me
its either your rigged multiple parts to right arm or you rigged right arm to multiple parts. So just check if that is the case for your viewmodel and delete the motor6d if it appears twice in any part of your viewmodel. If this is too confusing, just delete every single motor6d and restart the rigging process.
There has been multiple questions on this and they all fixed it but did not state how. I think you might just missed a thing that belongs in the handle called like muzzle flash. check if that is there
Alright, everything is working properly. However I made a 3rd person reload animation to my M1911, the animation does plays when I press R but I can shoot with it while reloading, sometimes the gun will stay stuck on the reloading phase and won't work until i drop the tool or reset my character. Besides that the tutorial was so helpful thank you a lot. Do you know how to fix it?
ok, first i dont think you can shoot while reloading and it being stuck in reloading phase 🤔idk if i experienced this bug before then i would know how to fix it but i didn't. sorry, i would recommend comparing your gun to the original pistol to see if anything is missing or just redo the guns :(

well maybe you should check for the parts again. make sure ALL is unachored and uncollideable cause there should be no other reason for this to be happening. Everything in viewmodel and tool has to be.
Hey! i have a 2 question... how do i make my own GUI? like aniphobia type GUI (the gui when u are using the gun. bottom left corner) and is it possible to make a separate running Animation when using a item?
The gui is inside one of the scripts inside the tool. You can change the color and move it around with no problems. There are some free ones on youtube and toolbox. The sprinting, you have to search up a different tutorial for that but it is definitely possible

What problem are you experiencing rn? Does the gui show up but you cant see it because it has odd scaling or it just simply not show up and only has the original gui? there is a folder inside replicatedstorage and inside it is alot of modele scipts. i forgot the name. check all of them since i forgot exactly which script and in one of them there should be a place where you can disable camera bobble.@@the_itcher4302
@@Dadawen69 closest thing to find was in the viewmodel was "CanBobble" turnning it off only disabled the viewmodels bobble, but not the actual camera (even using ctrl+f to find the camera bobbing in the module scripts)
bullet? Nothing should have collision. try searching "normal" in the search bar and make sure that is not collidable. It could be named normal or common idk i forgot

Ey man, i have an issue, with the melee kit again, now it's the animation, it says Infinite yield possible on ("Animation") when i insert the id's for the viewmodel. It breaks the melee tool, the only way to fix it was to remove the viewmodel id's. (btw i'm using AL's FEGK)
Infinite yield means that it cant find the animation and is constantly waiting for it. uhm try and reupload the animation and then paste it into the script. also no rblx:/// thing delete that. otherwise i have no clue what is going on. No animation should break the kit (unless you are using the theinbao's knife kit...)

hey bro whenever im outside of 1st person the gun looks like the original pistol and my sniper isnt shooting any advise?(i havnt animated the sniper yet and i was editing the script a bit)
so in the tool of the gun, try changing the model inside. in the tool i feel like you only have a singular part named handle, copy your sniper and paste it into the tool. copy "1" in the original handle and place it into your's. delete pistol handle and ungroup your sniper. now for the sniper isnt shooting, try replying to me if there are any errors in output and lmk. search for ones besides the animation errors. hope this helps

its probably something to do with blending of the animation, either disable roblox legacy animation blending (i think?) or try other animation priorities to see which one looks the best in the end

two things. Im having a problem whare when i aim down sights the shooting animation makes it hard to see, is there a way to like dampen or add a seperate shooting animation for ads? and is there a way to make the crosshair invisible for ads?
So the best thing for the aim down thing is to simply move it back. I dont think there is other ways. and wdym Ads? Like advertisement? to make crosshair invis, go into the gun, go into the scripts, and find the gui for crosshair. then delete the id for it or something but dont delete the frame for it. anyways the ad thing idk what you are talking about

Im having the issue with the rig im getting the error "The following parts are affected by multiple Motor6Ds: Right Arm" i think its because the handle and Right arm are jointed but also the humanoil and right arm are jointed
the humaniod root part is not suppose to join the handle. only the right arm. what the humaniod root part should be joined to is the left and right arm and fake camera (i think)@@xticxs4656

Well in the settings there is a place for firerate. Its really not that difficult to configure the settings when everything is pretty self explanitory. I just recommend looking through the whole thing and you will find what you need to configure the gun. firerate, damage, ammo, ect.

Hello. I have an odd bug. Anytime I click "C" I fall into the baseplate and kinda like fly across it in a sense. I wonder if their is a "Crouch" section binded to "c" and I can't find it and maybe it tries to play a failed anim, I'm not sure.
ive made a comment about this, this is the crouch script and its old. as a result, its buggy. the script is at starter player scripts or starter character scripts and is named stances. just delete it and replace with a crouching system that is more modern

TIP for users that doesn't own an Tool Grip Editor: You can just go to Properties on your tool and edit grip orientation to 0 and position.

I have problem at 3:04 i try to select mag after selecting AimPart and handle but, then it unselects AimPart. How do i fix this?
mayeb instead of selecting every part using ctrl, use shift like me and skip over parts

The first part you select will be where all the rig attachments will be at. meaning if you select handle first, all the things will go into handle

I unanchored the humanoidrootpart and fake camera but the camera is still glitching around whenever i try to move it
Ok, well the problem is still inside the viewmodel so highlight over every single part inside the viewmodel and if anyone of those parts are anchored or collideable, it will glitch. If that doesn't work lmk

I'm stuck at 9:51. Everytime i paste my id and press play, it still the default anim. And for some reason my character have 3 arms. (doing an first person game, but even if i'm on third, it doesn't show the anims).
The only thing i can think of it not working is that the animation prioity is still set to core. Change it to action or movement, if that isn't the case, then i have no idea. the 3 arms is odd, did you add any scripts into your game that makes third person arms visible in first person?
I did an script for when the player is on first person (default mode) he would see his body. Maybe that's it then.@@Dadawen69

I dont know much on the alt fire. maybe just duplicate the "1" in the aimpoints and change the name to 2 and spam your key board to see it it works.
My viewmodel's animations seem to blend and the animations I make end up looking weird and contorted in game (probably because of Roblox's horrible animation update in November). How do I fix this issue? I've tried the custom boolean workaround under Workspace properties named 'RbxLegacyAnimationBlending' but it only made the problem worse.
Alright so i had same problem for a while too but dont exactly know how to solve this problem but from what i researched, yeah one is disabling "RbxLegacyAnimationBlending" and the other is changing your gun priority to something else. In the video I mentioned to set it to action but try setting it to movement or idle to see if it works better. (dont do core it will not work). If it doesn't then idk :(

Oh boy! did you animate it? or does the viewmodel already looks like that? If in roblox studio, the gun is turning to right then in editing mode then it will look like taht when you play it unless you exported an animation for it
im sorry for like 3 comments but ive got like 4 comments saying that when you press C, you just fall to the ground and cant move. this is caused by the stances script inside starterplayerscripts or startercharacterscripts its bugged and outdated so you just delete it and find another crouch script that actually works. Anyways there was just too many repeating comments so.

uh this is odd uhm. try using the tool grip plugin and see if you can move the gun to the hand. if its not that then you simply didn't rig the gun model in the tool. that is all i can think of

I’ve been struggling to find a good tutorial recently on using the original version of FE Gun Kit (by thienbao) instead of the viewmodel file version, using this version allows me to use r6 anims for the viewmodel instead of having to reanimate for the “v_” thing. Everything like animations, variable editing for the guns only works, but in order to add melee kit thienbao has, theres a very hard and complex way of transferring code from his melee kit to the gun kit’s scripts. This causes the melee to break when even the slightest mistake happens, I cant seem to use yours as it also relies on the “v_” files. Please help in any way possible.
From 8:33 to 8:47, I followed the procedure correctly, but it seems different from the video. In the animation editing screen, the following part is affected by multiple Motor6Ds: RightHand. help me
its either your rigged multiple parts to right arm or you rigged right arm to multiple parts. So just check if that is the case for your viewmodel and delete the motor6d if it appears twice in any part of your viewmodel. If this is too confusing, just delete every single motor6d and restart the rigging process.

There has been multiple questions on this and they all fixed it but did not state how. I think you might just missed a thing that belongs in the handle called like muzzle flash. check if that is there
quick question: how do i make it so that the ammo is infinite but not the mag? for example: the mag will be limited, but i can reload infinitely.
it says it inside the script lol. For the reserve ammo thing instead of it being a number, put math.huge and you will have infinite reserve ammo

Alright, everything is working properly. However I made a 3rd person reload animation to my M1911, the animation does plays when I press R but I can shoot with it while reloading, sometimes the gun will stay stuck on the reloading phase and won't work until i drop the tool or reset my character. Besides that the tutorial was so helpful thank you a lot. Do you know how to fix it?
ok, first i dont think you can shoot while reloading and it being stuck in reloading phase 🤔idk if i experienced this bug before then i would know how to fix it but i didn't. sorry, i would recommend comparing your gun to the original pistol to see if anything is missing or just redo the guns :(

1. You probably placed the equip animation in shooting animation place
2. For sprint just search up a separate video

The viewmodel camera is probably anchored, unanchor it and try testing it again

well maybe you should check for the parts again. make sure ALL is unachored and uncollideable cause there should be no other reason for this to be happening. Everything in viewmodel and tool has to be.

The gui is inside one of the scripts inside the tool. You can change the color and move it around with no problems. There are some free ones on youtube and toolbox. The sprinting, you have to search up a different tutorial for that but it is definitely possible

What problem are you experiencing rn? Does the gui show up but you cant see it because it has odd scaling or it just simply not show up and only has the original gui?

there is a folder inside replicatedstorage and inside it is alot of modele scipts. i forgot the name. check all of them since i forgot exactly which script and in one of them there should be a place where you can disable camera bobble.@@the_itcher4302
@@Dadawen69 closest thing to find was in the viewmodel was "CanBobble" turnning it off only disabled the viewmodels bobble, but not the actual camera (even using ctrl+f to find the camera bobbing in the module scripts)

Ey man, i have an issue, with the melee kit again, now it's the animation, it says Infinite yield possible on ("Animation") when i insert the id's for the viewmodel. It breaks the melee tool, the only way to fix it was to remove the viewmodel id's. (btw i'm using AL's FEGK)
Infinite yield means that it cant find the animation and is constantly waiting for it. uhm try and reupload the animation and then paste it into the script. also no rblx:/// thing delete that. otherwise i have no clue what is going on. No animation should break the kit (unless you are using the theinbao's knife kit...)

hey bro whenever im outside of 1st person the gun looks like the original pistol and my sniper isnt shooting any advise?(i havnt animated the sniper yet and i was editing the script a bit)
so in the tool of the gun, try changing the model inside. in the tool i feel like you only have a singular part named handle, copy your sniper and paste it into the tool. copy "1" in the original handle and place it into your's. delete pistol handle and ungroup your sniper. now for the sniper isnt shooting, try replying to me if there are any errors in output and lmk. search for ones besides the animation errors. hope this helps

its probably something to do with blending of the animation, either disable roblox legacy animation blending (i think?) or try other animation priorities to see which one looks the best in the end

So the best thing for the aim down thing is to simply move it back. I dont think there is other ways. and wdym Ads? Like advertisement? to make crosshair invis, go into the gun, go into the scripts, and find the gui for crosshair. then delete the id for it or something but dont delete the frame for it. anyways the ad thing idk what you are talking about
oh, ads stands for Aim Down Sights, and i was basicly asking is i could make the crosshair invisible only when i aim down sights.

Im having the issue with the rig im getting the error "The following parts are affected by multiple Motor6Ds: Right Arm" i think its because the handle and Right arm are jointed but also the humanoil and right arm are jointed
yes that is the issue, you cant joint 2 different parts to the same part or you cant animate it

Well in the settings there is a place for firerate. Its really not that difficult to configure the settings when everything is pretty self explanitory. I just recommend looking through the whole thing and you will find what you need to configure the gun. firerate, damage, ammo, ect.
for viewmodels, motor6D's are affected for animating. and it doesnt let me animate v_[gunname]
you rigged multiple parts to the same part. since you probably cant find out which part it is, i recommend restarting the rigging part.

Hello. I have an odd bug. Anytime I click "C" I fall into the baseplate and kinda like fly across it in a sense. I wonder if their is a "Crouch" section binded to "c" and I can't find it and maybe it tries to play a failed anim, I'm not sure.
ive made a comment about this, this is the crouch script and its old. as a result, its buggy. the script is at starter player scripts or starter character scripts and is named stances. just delete it and replace with a crouching system that is more modern
