Do you know if the GPU can be set to discrete mode in the bios, or can it only be done as a software switch. All the reviews of these Bravo 15 laptops show the software switch that can enable dedicated GPU only mode but don't say if this can be done in the bios?
There is no such option in which you can run it only on DGPU mode only even in BIOS...

Edit: did you test it with balance mode? Since the cpu clock isnt reach 4400mhz. Will be better in performance mode

Hy friend, i have same laptop but 8Gb ram ddr5 you played cyberpunk on high setting without fsr, does this really maintains same fps after 2 hours of gameplay? Mine 8gb ram varients msi bravo 15 rx6550m lags nd stutter after playing sometime

It does not have GPU encoder so you will feel lag in it and is not recommended for 4K video editing....
only for 1080p casual editing

How's the power consumption like? I'm quite conscious of power consumption. Also, can you switch to the iGPU if you want?
you cann't switch the iGPU... no idea power consumption

And then select system option and then go to the power option
And then set your power plan to best power efficiency mode....

I don't see any stutter in this laptop but, when i saw every tech reviewer there's always stutter/fps drop in every game that played on this laptop? Is it caused by single ram only or there's other reason that cause stutter/fps drop on this laptop? And is it still worth to buy in 2024 for playing elden rings, genshin, and wuthering waves bcz my friend want to sell this laptop only $500😅
Brother, the issue of stutter also depends on your game settings... and also on RAM... if it is 8GB then it is a matter of RAM... but if it is 16GB then it should not be that much of an issue... .
As for 6550M, yes it is better by 500$ and according to your games...

Yeah it's normal for TUF but better keep it under 90°
For this you need to use your system at best power efficiency mode and always use your fans to max while gaming

@@StealthGamerSG I have compared 6550m with rtx 3050 i found on youtube. 6550m is better in some games like rdr2, witcher 3, and Hogwarts legacy as long you are not maxed out the graphics setting that cause bandwith limitation
