This is where Peterbilt gets it right. The entire truck is just eye candy, from the beautiful legendary champagne paint job to the matching interior to go along with it. It surely is a one of a kind truck. I can imagine just how cool this truck would look with a 300 inch wheelbase. Great video!
Thanks john!
This sure is another beauty! Inside/out and all around it's truly a magnificent package!! I'm taking notes as I watch these videos! Honest, I do! I'm trying to put together a spec version that I would never tire of and could basically live in without ever getting frustrated with this or that, because I basically do live in these things!! Kinda like buyin' a house! Thanks Steve!!
Thats why I do this. I want you in your "perfect" ride.
That's an Awesome color!
Just a bit long for me; 270"wb, miter stacks and a 12" blind mount visor and that's the perfect truck! Just love this color, great work Steve.
I have plenty of 270" trucks ready to go!
Nice colour!
love the color. reminds me of my dads 99 379
What the name of the color my dad had a 2000 379
amazing, as usual
Beautiful truck, I prefer the low suspension myself. Always enjoy your vids
Thank you sir
i sure wish peterbilt would bring back the dinette sleeper with the fold down bed off the back wall
You and me both.....
+Peterbilt Steve think you can make that happen mr. peterbilt
Id like to see a video at night and see how bright the phoenix lights look. Very nice truck.
I will put that on my to do list!

Peterbilt Steve do you can say me, if are there a truck like this with transmission automatic?
Could you do a yellow 389 video or a dark torredor red?
What would be some good 2 tone options with this color? Nice job Steve another beauty.
Some dark reds or even some navy blue, tons of options with this color
Beautiful truck I wonder if you have other options besides carpet floors
Rubber is the other option
Could you put top bunk in?
super
thanks
I appriciate your knowledge of what it takes to spec out a great truck. you've posted a ton of trucks in recent past. Are they selling? Every report I read speaks of 35% decline in class 8 orders/sales. Good luck to you in these apparently tough times! thanks for putting them up.
Steve from what you read, what is the reason for the decline in class 8 sales, election year or is there more to it ? I have been looking at trucks and every dealer I go to says this is the best time in the last 5 years to buy, I guess thats due to weak sales
Kevin Carter. I understand the root cause is terminally low freight rates for owner operators. Plus, despite what politicos want us to believe, the economy is not doing that well. 1.5%GDP in first 6 months of 2016 and most of 2015 last quarter. Too much truck cargo capacity chasing too little freight. Rail roads are down as well. I think it IS a good time to buy. IF you have a solid job hauling predictable freight. I should think dealers, like Rush Peterbilt, would work extra hard for your business. Translation; a good price for your purchase. Hope that helps.
Thanks for the reply I appreciate your info and I agree about the politicos lies oh I mean info, by the way if you haven't seen the great movie "Hillarys America" you owe it to yourself. Are you with Rush and if so what state, thanks KC
Fleet sales are down big time BUT my owner operator sales have never been stronger. The workin man is out there getting it done!
Tulsa
Pete Steve, from what you know, is there a solid 1.5 to 2.0 decline in MPG from the 389 to the 579, I love the square hood but I would have to say from a business position the loss of MPG is a lot of money out of my pocket and into the tanks, what say you ?
Fact, 389 vs a full aero 579 IS 1.5-2.0 mpg different. Just depends on what you are pulling and how you drive.
high rpm at idle!
Super-sized ride, I wonder what kind of mpg it gets cruising at 75mph all day long like I do?
And where is this guy's dealership so that I can come down and look at some inventory?
6.5-6.8 mpg is common. Tulsa Oklahoma
Peterbilt Steve Great, I get through Tulsa pretty often on the Tyson Dedicated Account that I run regularly, I'll definitely drop in and see you on one of my rotations.
Mr steve sir, if i ordered a roller thru you, are you able to refer me to someone you trust for the completion. i prefer your packages and options over other shops that i have seen so far. thanks steve.
Yes, I have 2 shops within 90 miles of my dealership I would recommend.
thank you steve that is comforting to know, we'll talk soon. thanks again.
pretty gorgeous color but put that on cream frame....and everything chrome goes black.....now that would be poppin
That would definitely be cool
When are the new 579s coming in?
I need to sell my 2016's before I get any 2017's.
can a rubber mat be had instead of carpet?
Yo can do carpet or rubber or carpet/rubber combo.
Can a truck be ordered with a factory pto? If so who makes it? Thanks
They can install it at the factory after it comes off the line. You could pick almost any brand.
Are there a truck like this, with transmission automatic?????
Some but not many. Not very popular here in the states.
Do you guys have a full maintenance lease program?
Yes

how much is a truck like this?
In the early 160's

Oh its a nice one....
steve you guys offer any glider kits for the 389's? new engines with all the emissions makes me nervous, 18' ISX gonna be any better or different?
I dont do complete gliders, just rolling chassis. Cummins says the new package is lighter and even more reliable.
Peter is this for sale if you are reading this?
Yes Sir
Steve this is my fav channel
Thank you
Hi Steve. Beautiful Peterbilt. i am just wondering have you check out my video about the Peterbilt. just wondering.
