very interesting. a neighbour sent me his video of.a scissor-tail in Whistler, British Columbia, remarking how far from home it was, and TH-cam offered me your excellent video with commentary that i greatly appreciated.
I appreciate the video. My son sent me a message that he had spotted a scissor tail nest. When I saw the picture, I responded. Thank you for sharing and I’m glad that on your busy day you even notice it. I went looking for a picture of a scissor tail to send him, because what he spotted was actually a swallow’s nest. This next he’ll now what it looks like.☺️👍🏼
Thank you I’m glad you liked the narration and text. It was something new I wanted to try so I might do more when I make more videos! Have a good one :)
Great informative video.! I love Tx wildlife, would be nice to see more like this for different types of animals. Sadly though I found this video looking up scissor tail calls/songs. My wife just showed up to the house yesterday with a injured one she saw laying on hwy 87 coming in from out of town. It has a broken wing and possibly tail but still has quite a bit of energy . Trying to get a hold of some wildlife rescue groups near our central Tx area to get it better care. Still waiting on a call back since there all over an hour away from our small town.
I didn't realize you were a college student -- I don't imagine there are many people as young as you making content like this (if I'm wrong, I'll be happy to be corrected). Is this channel part of your course of study in anyway, or simply a labor of love? Anyway, thank you for telling us all about this striking bird -- I never see them where I live.
Howdy! I will say I don't find many people my age creating the same content. It's something I take pride in and do my best to succeed in. While I major in environmental sciences, this channel is not part of any course and is indeed just a labor of love :)) Glad to see your comment once again my friend, you take care.
great video as usual! this is my first time commenting on one of your videos but i love the ornithological content. btw Go Aggies, from an Oregon State Beavers fan
Thank you so much you are too kind! It's great seeing a new comment from you and I appreciate you being a subscriber :) go beavers you got great taste my friend!
Fellow Aggie here.. Living in North-Central Louisiana and just spotted a male fly catcher here. Don't think I've ever seen one here before, and I've lived here off and on for most of my life. Thanks for the video. And Gig Em!
