Try the “gel dip” nails. They last a month! No chips, cracks, lifting etc. and they look and fell just like acrylics.
I'm loving your room. It's nice to see other seasoned teachers still decorating their rooms. We spend so much time in our classrooms that we can't forget to make it our own. Not just for our students, for US too.

If you use the “portion control” bags ziplocks, then you don’t have to fold the bags over.
I love how colorful your room turned out. The pleated table skirt worked out perfectly. I also love your idea of using something similar to a cube holder for each table. I have not seen that idea before and it really makes sense. Your kids will not need to walk around to get books or supplies as it will all be within reach.

The first day of school activity page would make a nice banner once everyone finishes their page. I would cut out the flag and then laminate and make it a banner to hang somewhere. You have a beautiful classroom! Thanks for motivating me to get going on my classroom.

Your classroom is very attractive and I'm loving it. Sorry to ask, what are the covid safety practices your school putting in place? I'm asking since the students' desks are in groups.
Thank you!! We haven't gotten specific guidance on how desks need to be arranged yet, but if we do I will just switch to rows like I did last year.

I’m a teacher in the Netherlands and love the way you take everyone on your journey of getting back to school! When I cut my lamination work, both side come loose! What’s your trick?
I put my things back through the laminator to seal them. It's less work than cutting, laminating and cutting again.

Wow!! How cool! 😍 Are you using a Scotch laminator and laminating pouches? I only laminate once and cut and it doesn't peel apart. It will peel apart if I try to laminate two sheets together though.

Not silly at all! I have a paper shredder for all of my junk mail 🤪 I used that!
