All with bits and bobs of Comfy Cozy Knits yarns (Ashley). I have to restart them though as I don't want them tight and find them tight. Love what you did with the Sophie Scarf. I made a small version as a headband but did more increases, your idea is way better.

Fanta wastic podcast!!! I have been wondering how your brioche knitting in the Steven West MKAL was going. Knitting brioche flat is very different that in the round. I love the muted effect of your apple green colour and mohair.
LOVE your fingerless mittens -- though I agree; I'd want a thumb gusset in the pattern. As for the *yarn* -- the Cumbria is merino, masham and *mohair* -- fibre from 2 breeds of sheep *and a goat*. That might be part of your 'prickly' issue. And you said you'd not blocked them yet. A lovely soak in a wool wash or in a mild shampoo with hair conditioner might deal with the prickle factor. Just a thought!
I knit a pullover using just Fiber co. Cumbria. I have sensitive skin and the yarn did itch when I first put it on, but after wearing it awhile, I had no problem.
I’ve only ever had a problem traveling with knitting needles when flying to Canada! 😂 I was asked to put my knitting up above in my carry on, and when I asked why, the flight attendant stated I could stab someone with the needles. Snarkily, I responded that I could also stab someone with a pencil! She was unamused. I still love traveling to Canada though. ❤
have not finished my clue two either because I bought the go go dynamo pattern just before the second clue was released .... I did not want to get into a shawl I would not wear this year ... agree with you on having a lot more fun knitting this one ...love your colors
Lovely MKAL colors! I watched one of the Humans of Westknits and one of the participants had a great hint for the brioche. I ripped back my first section several times - full of anxiety and hot flashes! I did think to put in a lifeline so that was one bonus. Her hint was to put stitch markers every so often (I did every 50 stitches) and then check back before proceeding. While it slows you down, so does redoing your knitting multiple times! And it really, really worked. I could fix mistakes before they were several rows deep. My second section has been anxiety and hot flashes free! Enjoy your time in Spain - always love the video of where you live.

But I used brown as MC. I do not know why, because of BROWN ??? But it looks nice. I saw some YTers who also had the same thought .. putting the mohair in front, and so do I. For Clue 3 (I am doing now) I was on the Ravelry group and one Mod (RiotousAssembly) has really nice helps.

I live in Nova Scotia and went to the States in September ,flew Air Canada. I had no issues knitting on my metal circular needles on the plane. Love your podcast!! Being in Spain you are missing all the beautiful colors here in Canada.
Hi Linda, i can shed some light on the question about traveling with needles - it is about the country you are flying through or to. For example, if you fly through any airport in the UK, they will take them off you or send you out of the airport (if you have time) to check them. So people should check the rules of the country they flying in and out of.

Fingerless mitts are great gift knits. My go to pattern is Cozy Cuffed Mitts by Karen Everitt and it has a thumb gusset. 😊

Thank you for watching….It grew for sure but not outrageous…the whole garment just loosened and got drapier….if that makes sense.
