A podcaster I watched said she doesn’t take off the decrease markers on sleeves, but add S new markers to to second sleeve & when done she using the markers to make sure both sleeves matched, you might want to try this I’m going to on my next sweater. Thank you for your podcast & Merry Christmas

Hi Linda, Fruity Knitting episode 97 interviews Keri Lord. I remember watching it. I bought Edward’s Menagerie the same day. Every animal I make is cuter than the last. I work with children so I have made many. I missed out again on the advent this year! I will live through you again lol.

That little crochet thingamajig is soooo cute!! The Advent trees may be a tiny bit of knitting but they do take time! I thought I could knock one out in an hour each day but it's the time it takes to decide what design, colour combo, yarn, size etc... that all eats up the crafting hours. But I'm going to love having it in 24 days!! Woot!🥰

Um...re: Engelbert Humperdinck: there are *two* of them! One is the contemporary singer and the other -- a composer who lived from 1854 to 1921. I think perhaps the latter is the fellow who created the opera/operetta. 🙂 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engelbert_Humperdinck_(composer) About the grey in your sweater: if that grey is completely natural (i.e., undyed), it could simply be the colour of the fleece that was used in the spinning. Remember, sheep, like humans and other hairy or fur-bearing creatures, have more than one colour or shade of one colour in their hair. 🙂

I love Christmas markets. That one look particularly nice. Lol. I tried writing this earlier and wrote mice instead of nice. Then when I tried to fix it, I accidentally deleted it. I love technology.

Hansel and Gretal could be considered Christmassy because the witch's house they find in the house when they are lost was a gingerbread house. At least that is how it is depicted in my Little Golden Stoetbook, and a pop up book from Hungary. They are hungry and when they see the house, they pull off pieces and start eating it. The witch has a famous line in the book "Nibble, nibble, like a mouse, who's that nibbling at my house."

Linda, so happy to see you again for Vlogmas. I can’t wait to see what the Toft advent turns out to be. I am just now learning crochet with a granny square blanket. I purchased a kit from Wool warehouse and the pattern is by Attic24. She has so many beautiful color combinations. Sorry about the sleeve for Patrick but better you discovered it now than when it was all finished. Have a great day and week!

Hansel and Gretel has been adapted as opera that's usually shown around christmas time in Germany ;) so maybe you're right with your first guess

They are both Xmas colours - red and green…

Thanks for your podcasts, vlogmas videos. I look forward to your videos every week fortnight. I’m spending my Christmas at my sister’s with the AC on (Summer here in Australia) with all of our family for a big Christmas lunch. I can’t wait! I have a few wips. A beanie with my own hand dyed yarn for my neice, a penguono, a Stella quilt blanket, socks and a mitre square blanket. Too many, but I can’t help myself. I want to knit everything!! 💕
