Battery cars are heavier so more track damage. They need special tires for their weight, possibly more flats. NASCAR will need special foam to put out an electrical fire, possible track surface melting.
Its not meant to Replace the regular NASCAR Series Cars. It’ll be it’s on thing. The EV series would be closely aligned with the Cup Series - meaning one race on Saturday and Sunday, each for 30 minutes, without charging or car swaps. Pit stops would mean tire swaps and minor repairs only. I like the idea of it, I love technology as long as it’s in its on series.

Yeah,it's just not something I will be interested in going electric. I will watch old races on youtube or something
