Hey do you have scale recommendations for deadlifts? This will be my 4th CrossFit workout ever. Participated in 22.1 (first open) last week and got 178 RX. My max deadlift is 315 which means 225 is 70% of my max so not sure what I should scale to.
@@4funner66 DL has always been my weakest and least trained lift. That being said I’ve gotten multiple comments saying 225 should be fine, so RX it is😎
I dont need a lecture on fitness as i am an athlete and have studied Physical Education and Sports Science. All the so called "athletes" in Crossfit are juiced and especially the women! When crossfit first came out I thought it would be something different and good, but the simple truth is that its just another marketting thing and a good income source for Physiotherapists!
How much did Mike got? Just did mine today and I went unbroken and started to break my reps into 2/3 sets. But looking at Mike Singles could work best for me. Thanks again for the amazing content!

Then you a bad ass if you got 178 on your first workout ever! I’d go for broke if I was you!
If 225 is 70%, you should be able to use the Rx weight here just fine. It’ll be challenging, but you’ve got it!
