I remember John Stewart getting arrested for allegedly blowing up a planet. He was, fortunately, cleared of any wrongdoing
I know in JL the animated series He was framed by the Manhunters & cleared when the planet wasn’t truly destroyed, but was he cleared in the comics? 🖖🏾

Yeah, but that animated episode was a reference to an incident from the comics that didn't go so well. He didn't exactly directly explode a planet, but he let his arrogance lead him to trying to disarm a bomb on his own, which turned out to be entirely yellow, and it did explode the whole planet. He never really lived that down
When did he get arrested for this? This was during Cosmic Odyssey?
He was referring to an episode of DCAU Justice League animated series season 1 🖖🏾
Bruh if Batman told anyone about his contingency plans that'd create another issue cuz they'd KNOW THE DAMN PLAN!

I'm gonna take Batman's side on this one. If the heroes knew he already had plans to stop them, then when/if they turn evil Batman will be their first target. His mistake was letting Ras get hold of them.

One of my "pet peeves" is how many "older" characters can start out being good moral individuals with a line they will not cross, then they cross it; usually when I different writer/editor is looking for a story, in my humble opinion. I think both the wheelchair bound team leaders, The Professor (Charles Xavier) of Marvel (X-men), and the older of the two, The Chief (Niles Caulder) of the DC (Doom Patrol).

It makes sense that Batman would make contingency plans behind his friends/colleagues backs considering that he doesn't trust anyone 100%

Maybe this is a dumb question but, why couldn't Martian Manhunter just phase through John's construct? Was it because of the flames? Because I don't see any other reason why he couldn't have just gone intangible in any other scenario.
Those are definitely some monumental F…Ups Adam My Man, although I’m not sure how the Bucky one fits in seeing as he was brainwashed 🤷🏾♂️, & IMO the Secret Invasion is far worse than the Tower of Babel… Anyway Keep Up The Great Work Adam 🖖🏾
That reminds me of a hero I made. His name was Powerhouse and he was the world's strongest hero. Unfortunately when he was younger he had to go to space and save a planet from invaders. This was unfortunate because he was still learning how to control his powerful telekinesis. You see he can basically manipulate mater on a subatomic level using telekinesis and he thought by using one of his force fields which are nearly indestructible he could split the atoms of this guy without causing problems...the guy was on the ground and the forcefield was everywhere but the ground so when he split the atoms of the man since he was touching the planet it caused a lot of problems do to the minerals of the planet being highly explosive

Fun fact in the Ray volume 1 issue 11 , Ray Terrill before they retconned him as being gay , lost his virginity as a teenager to a much older Dinah Lance / Black Canary…on a 3 panel page there is a half page panel with Dinah in the sheet with her costume on the floor around the bed & a tortured look on her face. A small second panel with a close up on Dinah’s face of that cringy look with a thought bubble of her saying DAMN! The third panel has Ray flying away saying “ Ladies & gentlemen Elvis has left the building… and I thought flying was COOL…HEY” …it was pre Birds Of Prey & one writer called it Black Canary’s lowest moment in comics 🖖🏾
So Xavier has protocols for rogue X-Men? What about rogue avengers?
Batman’s problem with the Tower of Babel contingency plans is he got found out and hacked. Good idea to inform beings as powerful as the Justice League to not know he could counter them if they become dangerous. Without abilities he could be targeted first and the contingency couldn’t be used by another controlled member of the league. Think of Watchman.

I mean the Parallex thing has been retconned and examined to death by now. It gets kinda boring to hear about it all the time. Like yeah, he got butthurt, wore a cape for some reason, did a genocide, we've all been there
Yeah, but Jordan was being controlled/influenced by Parallax at that point.
Only after a retcon , DC did pretty much the same thing as when Marvel decided to retcon that Dark Phoenix was a galactic entity that assumed the life of Jean Grey ,while Jean healed in a cocoon under the sea 🖖🏾
