Fly-fishingrecord Golden Mahseer on The Ramganga River, India

Golden Mahseer are magnificent fish inhabiting the rivers of the Himalayan foothills. They are known for the strength and sublime beauty, and are rarely caught on the fly. Most are landed on bait, spinners and plugs. On this occasion the most important Hindu God, Shiva, delivered and a 45 lb fish was landed and released.
