Plus they don't have any way to control one anymore, if they try the same technique then they lose control and Ghidora takes control. Destroying Godzilla comes with an insane amount of collateral damage, and it's not even guaranteed. Destroying kong, conventional weaponry is enough. He doesn't have the durability of a normal titan.
