Each fight had a purpose with it's own style.
Godzilla adapted his combat for 5 different opponents in this one movie.
Godzilla dominated on land and water yet had challenges from most opponents in some degree. Godzilla's sheer strength was too much for Skar and Scylla while his energy was too much for Tiamat and Kong. Shimo was the only opponent that could match both.
Ghidorah and Mecha Godzilla absolutely destroyed Godzilla lol both times big G had to team up to defeat Ghidorah

I keep coming back to these scenes because I just really love how this movie depicts godzilla as intelligent and aware that it is capable of affecting its own evolution. Like watching godzilla absorb radiation and reuse the EMP blast he did in KOTM was so cool. Like he unlocked a new power went he went full nuclear burning godzilla mode, and has the intelligence to know how to tap into that again later when necessary. Such a cool version of godzilla

You clearly did not pay attention to the story, Godzilla in the comics struggled against Tiamat because he was starving, enjured and tired, bro was not on his prime at all... However, in "Godzilla X Kong The New Empire", Godzilla was stated to be at peak health, he was back at his prime state.

0:24 Instead of running and jumping towards Scylla here, I imagine a scenario where the opening is pretty much the same, and while Scylla is busy destroying the city, a portal suddenly opens in middle of nowhere in Rome near Scylla and Godzilla jumps him like that. That abrupt jump feel more natural that way in my head, plus it could be a hint for all the portal scene later in the movie.
