‘Matchmaker’ feels like a bit of an odd choice for Hodel. She sang it amazingly, but the song is lead in the show by Hodel and Chava. ‘Far From The Home I Love’ would be a better pick, but she did amazingly anyway

Yeah, I just played Hodel, and I thought that was kinda of an odd choice. But also, Matchmaker shows off all the parts of your voice, but she cut those parts out. So I don’t even know what that was for.
The students don't get to choose their song. The Jimmy's picks a song from the qualifying show. I assume they picked MathchMaker because it is easier to make into a medley. She would have liked to sing Far from the home I love.
This Carrie Pipperidge is the cutest, most endearing character I've ever seen. Also her voice is gorgeous. And that laugh!

This is definitely my favorite medley from the 2017 Jimmy awards. All of them are so consistent and strong with their voices. I'm very impressed.

This medley is so phenomenal, I really find that Jasmine Rogers is the standout: her vocal quality, stage presence, and even the costume and make up are on point!
But seriously all these performances are well deserving of their spot at the Jimmys and in this medley!
The lady playing Jo March is absolutely incredible. She makes the performance her own, has crazy riffs, really embodies the character of Jo March and makes her character so lovable to the audience

Next year please try to have all the kids do these medleys! Even if you can't fit all the medleys in the show, have the others do in dress rehearsal or even during the week! It's much nicer to see the kids in the role they were nominated for

I played the witch before, and my costume was a long, green, spaghetti strap dress with a weird black lace cape sewn to hang off my shoulders. What kind of budget do these schools have?!
