The rifle arrived today and I dialed in the scope just a couple hours ago th-cam.com/users/postUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL . I haven’t shot with a scope in probably 25 years. The X on the left was my target. (the shot almost in the bullseye on the right X was my father in laws first shot after I made adjustments) The two shots circled are my first 2 shots. Then I brought it down - shot once. Then brought it over to the left. From there zeroed it in to dead center. This all was from 25 yards out. Follow instructions carefully when mounting the scope. So far I'm very happy with the purchase.
I wish this would become a common choice for department stores and sporting good stores. The common airgunner needs to be exposed to different mechanisms. They didn't always sell springers at walmart, but since they have started it's brought a lot of people into the sport. Common people need different options.
I bought a Umarex Fuel about 4 years ago. Within 300 shots the bore was totally worn out. There was no visible rifling in it, and a pellet pushed into the chamber would fall all the way to the floor. The scope was utter junk, and after the first 50-75 shots, the best group I could get out of it was about 5" at 30 feet. I tried for months to contact Umarex but never got any response from them, whatsoever. So y'all do whatever you want, but that's my story.
14.66g 5.51mm H&N FTTs shoot well in every FX ST and STX barrel gun i own so long as I don't push them hotter then 890fps... None of my .22 LW barrel guns like them what so ever. In .177 Daystate Red Wolf likes them in 4.50mm head size.
If you want quick easy and repeatable, I don't know why the air gun makers don't go back to making a slide action air gun like they did in the 50s. They got good power, good accuracy, and you didn't have to pull off your sight plane to work the action.
I just seen ad for this on outdoor Channel, I want one, good price, please don't get the big head and raise the price. Think I will wait for the .22 cal.
Good video. The rifle has a great design but it's not something for me personally. I just wanted to comment on your air quality. I have spent time out West and I absolutely love your thin air. Here in the deep South..... In the summertime the humidity is so thick you are lucky to go through a shooting session before your barrel starts to rust! Lol! The wet heavy air also affects velocity.
If it had iron sights I'd probably buy one. All of my pellet rifles have iron sights. I actually prefer them over scopes since accuracy drops significantly after 40 to 50 yrds.
I'm the same way and not to mention what happens if/when the scope gets damaged because of the recoil. I've seen some guns I thought about purchasing but the lack of iron sights was the deal breaker.
I purchased one of these. Heavy rifle, but sometimes that's a good thing for a powerful gun. Even though it's gas piston, the kickback was serious! Mine has since settled in, but I still have to hold firmly. I find that the artillery hold isn't best IMO. A serious design flaw is that it's SUPER EASY to double load pellets. Another problem is cocking it. Really hard to cock. Notice in the video you never see him bring the lever all the way down. At a certain point you really need to use muscle. Real world accuracy? 3 shots, 3 squirrels. That's all I care about at this point. When I finish a full tin maybe I'll update this review. So far I've only shot about 100 pellets. I hope this information helps.
My 1980's weihrauch hw77k 0.22. I always for me scope in the gun with me holding firmly pushing stock in to shoulder. If you repeat this everytime and dont lean the gun from the side on anything you can get very accurate shots from a springer.
In that price range the Gamo is a better buy. You can replace the trigger screw on a Gamo and get a 1pound trigger from a standard model swarm 10 like the look of this rifle but a 6pound trigger that is definitely a no go.
My little girl wanted a 1 pound trigger. I told her that is too dangerous. I gave her a squirt gun to practice. Now she shoots big boy guns. And hits targets.
Very good review of an accurate gun for a low price, thanks. And 15% added to 842 is 968.3 - a just right velocity. The link says $160. But how much does it weigh? How's the ballance? The repeaters are going to make the muskets (single shots- shoot, move around, make noise, take up time, load another round, move, make noise, aim...) obsolete.

The gas piston does in fact not perform better under very cold conditions than the springer that has been proven to be false. Also long term use the spring beats the gas ram. I had a Gamo CF30 (pre CFX were also known as a BSA underlever) for 26 years with the same spring. No gas piston will ever match that under continual use. Also you can fine tune a spring rifle by cutting the spring shorter with a gas piston you stuck with what you have no adjustments can be made.

One & a half pound difference in trigger weight over 3 shots is pretty poor & what I get out of my 5 yr old Umarex Octane,... That big difference means you never really know when the trigger is gonna pop so the issue I have is I tend to pull the trigger on my Octane instead of squeezing it just so I have some control of when the gun is going to fire but this does damage to accuracy :( The gas ram on these Umarex rifles is nice but they do add weight & the violent jarring effect is real,... I believe the 2nd series Octane Elite is better with it's damper system.
What is the knurled cap at the end of the barrel for? Is there any sort of anti bear trap device to keep the cocking lever from flying up and pinching your hand? Can the Nitro Piston be decocked if you accidentally try to fire a 13th pellet? Is the butt plate rubber and, if so, is it soft or firm? Do you get more than 1 mag and are additional ones going to be available right away? While you were shooting for accuracy, did you by any chance think to verify that the scope was parallax free at 35 yards as you opined earlier in the video? Do you feel that your sample gun was free of barrel droop and left you with plenty of downward spring tension on the scope's inner tube? If you answer these questions, thank you in advance, and now is there anything that you,d like to ask me? :-)
Good questions! Knurled cap covers the shrouded barrel. There is an internal anti-bear trap so the gun cannot be decocked and it needs to be fired once cocked. Yes, rubber butt pad, pretty firm - only mildly grippy. Two magazines, I don't have a date on extras. And yes, I verified the parallax at 30 -35 yards (of course!). No barrel droop. I noticed that you had to put a bit of effort into cocking the rifle,....at least it looked like you 'worked' at it. What's you honest opinion n cocking effort of the Synergis? Some reviews claim it rather 'stout' to cock.
It is in the middle of the road, in my opinion. It isn't as light as a Diana 240 or Beeman R7, but it is probably on par with a Wather Terrus. Much, much easier than any of the magnum springers, as you would imagine since it has only modest power. Kids might have issues cocking it, but small framed adults shouldn't.
@@airgundepot First, thank you very much for this reply. I own a Terrus in .177 (wonderful spring type air rifle, in my opinion.) I just looking for plinker to use in the back yard when there are some younger folks around who'd like to shoot a few holes in some targets.
Do you know if I can get a replacement nitro cylinder for my Benjamin prowler? My father used it and now it doesn't have any pressure anymore? I think her tried to pump it up!! It is the .177 caliber.

Umarex, what are you thinking putting such a bad trigger in? It does not cost them more folks to put in a 3lb trigger vs a 6lb. This is utter bull. Disappointing
I´m surprised about the Meisterkugeln !!! actually more than 550 fps these guys do not work . It´s the flat head !!! But you showed me others ! May be the twist rate at the barrel !!!! Please would you check that out ?? Because you have the possibilities .
Trouble for the .08% of Springer owners who would. So basically no one. And most springers and gas shoot 10k+ pretty easily. Again, so few will need to ever replace the spring, its not even a real benefit.
@@lordgarion514 there are plenty of reasons why you'd want to access the spring and piston anyway, even if not to replace the spring. Tbt kits for example, to improve power and or accuracy or just to clean or replace the piston. Lots of guys have air rifles that they've kept for 20 or more years.
@@MrRedeyedJedi Lots is relative. A lot of people to you, is still a tiny fraction of all the people who shoot them. And their sales are dropping. Almost no one tinkers anymore. And the barrel mechanism is at least as likely to go out first. The Springer and gas piston are both dying. PCP sales are going way up.
@@lordgarion514 Don't know what air gun groups your part of, but there are plenty of springer owners on the ones I'm a member of. Probably because they are more affordable to buy and use and easier to work with in the field/at home. the fact that for a bargain price you get a 12 shot feed although not a new idea.It looks much like a lot of pcp mags.i would want to check there are no contact forces on the pellet from the magazine which could nick ammo and cause fliers.Unfortunately imho the trigger is a massive downer and i wonder what an extra $50 ontop would give ? thinking along the lines of the recent benjamine marrauder. yes gentlemen true 1st and second stage pressure release down to small lb/s.at research level PLEASE ! otherwise you are just saying"the type of market we are aiming at is the type of person......phppppp !!.A sweet trigger makes a better shooter and when a product makes some one a better shooter thats a v great thing
Yep.. I don't know for sure, but it might be made by Shanghai Industries, or Industry Brand, something like that. Very large Chinese air gun manufacturer and they're actually pretty decent. Of course nothing like Diana or any of the good German rifles, but for the cheap price they're fairly good.
great looking air rifle, seems like it has some nice features but i've gotten better accuracy out of a $35 crosman from walmart with pretty much any pellets i put through it.
I like that its a underlever, But I would like to a see a comparison of this rifle, and the New Benjamin Mag Fire. Or be able to shoot it for a comparison between it and my Diana 460 just to see what the differences are. It looks like the Underlever cocking arm is Not very thick steel.
Trigger tech is fantastic in its current state. Shoot my RAW HM1000X LRT and you will know that trigger tech is just fine as it is.. Springer triggers can be amazing as well. My TX200MKIII trigger is FASTASTIC as my My HW95 and 97KT trigger. The thing is triggers are restricted by price point. Want a match grade trigger then you have to pay for match grade guns... Budget guns will no time soon have even decent triggers. However with some diamond paste, Emory cloth and a few different grits of sand paper and about an hour of time and you can have a very good trigger.
I really wish this was in .22. Probably would have purchased already... On another note.. you really need to put a better scope on these guns before testing. That accuracy is all over the place and I’m willing to bet it’s the scope. No scope manufacture has lasted more then 20 shots in a springer I had. Also.. JSB pellets. H&N seem to be very unreliable. Every gun i have used them, I always get 1-2 fliers within 10 shots. They just aren’t good pellets

If only air gun depot put as much effort in their service and customers as much as they did on their videos, they’d be a good company. Oh well
They responded to me very quickly. Today.
Do they expect a release and 22 or 25
Geeze not the bigger is better crap again.... Get a red sports car too. Very impressive. Must be red cuz, u know, they go faster and are just way better.... No matter what the speed limit is.... Hey people. Imagine your brain is the size of an acorn. And I shoot a 177 pellet through your brain at 800 fps. Now, what do you think is going to happen to your brain???? Think . . .
I need an interpreter
Or a filter...
You never tell the LOP!!! This is very important to us with shorter arms than yours!!!! For me anything over 13- 1/2" affects my shooting( except off a bench)!!!!! So how about including LOP when you do a video and in your specs in your online catalog! Thank you!
That's a good reminder! LOP is always a big deal for me also, but because I have very long arms. The LOP is right on 14".
cuanto tiempo tiene que pasar para que fabriquen un rifle que empuje el piston con una bateria en la culata y tenga la manera manual al mismo tiempo... como una clavadora de carpinteria
Umarex, what are you thinking putting such a bad trigger in? It does not cost them more folks to put in a 3lb trigger vs a 6lb. This is utter bull. Disappointing
I was thinking about you said too
Looks so close to being great and then just not finished well.
@@artsmith103, as per so Many airguns.
Get a squirt gun. Bulk up that trigger finger. Wow. Get mommy to hold the gun for you. That works.
A side lever would be even better. Who will make the first mag fed sidelever springer? Come on guys,.... your so close.
Artemis sr900 I think is a side lever Springer. Decent gun for the price. Probably marketed under a different name in the US
Mark Davies, nice! Exactly what I was talking about. You can shoot from a bag easier than with this Umarex underlever.
Has anyone actuality bought a gun from airgun dpot and actually got what you orderd?
I´m surprised about the Meisterkugeln !!! actually more than 550 fps these guys do not work . It´s the flat head !!! But you showed me others ! May be the twist rate at the barrel !!!! Please would you check that out ?? Because you have the possibilities .
My only useing DOMED PELLETS for any air gun. Repeat...
Trouble is with gas ram is they are far less maintainence friendly. With spring, they are easy to upgrade or replace
@@MrRedeyedJedi
Lots is relative.
Not having to lug a gas tank around/have it inspected, deal with power drop off or buy compressors does have an advantage to people who are on a budget or want ease of use.
@@lordgarion514 would you like recommendations to groups? Im a member of three and have been shooting live fire guns and air weapons for about two decades.
Saying it is Easy to cock was OK 2 years ago?? My .22 is Very Hard to cock and fairly loud with its springs twanging sharply even though it's Gas Piston makes it sound like it would be more quiet.
Have power or ease. Pick one.
Why no front sight?
My shot gun has no sights. Kills game just fine. Oh, I do have to aim at the target...
Quick question out of curiosity: What happens if you try to cock the gun twice? Will it load another pellet?
Yes, it will double load.
It should. If you shove two pellets in your gun, will they go in? Mine will.
THAT was funny. SYNERGY, People!
Crickets...
Some people just dont get it. Get what? Fill in the blanks.
Umarex make good products. I have a couple of their Rifle. Problem is If you ever need Customer Service. By Far The Worst Customer Service I've ever dealt with.Eating while on the phone with me, Sarcastic, AHole. Just the Worst. Buy their products , But you've been warned!
Germans make Porches and people buy them. Soooooo.......
Like heavy pellets best
7:55 what you call it? Schnabel ????? sounds funny... Schnabel in german is the birds beak. :))
It is the same word. A schnabel on a gun stock is the little beak at the front that gives your hands something to stop against.
How can it compare to a German made Weihrauch HW97? Is Umerx Sinergy better? Can you use a moderator?
Half the gun @ half the price, you pays your $$ and you takes your choice
Already has moderator.
the fact that for a bargain price you get a 12 shot feed although not a new idea.It looks much like a lot of
pcp mags.i would want to check there are no contact forces on the pellet from the magazine which could nick
ammo and cause fliers.Unfortunately imho the trigger is a massive downer and i wonder what an extra $50 ontop
would give ? thinking along the lines of the recent benjamine marrauder. yes gentlemen true 1st and second stage
pressure release down to small lb/s.at research level PLEASE ! otherwise you are just saying"the type of market we are aiming at is the type of person......phppppp !!.A sweet trigger makes a better shooter and when a product makes
some one a better shooter thats a v great thing
A strong steady trigger pull required to be an expert marksman. I want minimum 4 pound pull. But then, I hit my targets.
I felt it.
Can you put a moderator on it ?
Not needed. Download the pdf manual. Check barrel design.
@@peterbaugh51 I will take your word for it thank you
Como puedo escucharlo en español
Nice nice looks like Umarex has come out with another Chinese gun to add to the Umarex Gauntlet collection
Yep.. I don't know for sure, but it might be made by Shanghai Industries, or Industry Brand, something like that. Very large Chinese air gun manufacturer and they're actually pretty decent. Of course nothing like Diana or any of the good German rifles, but for the cheap price they're fairly good.
Work some of travis's magic and cut that trigger pull in half and get back with me.
.22 & a 3 lb trigger thats a great squirrel gun
4 lb for me thanks.
great looking air rifle, seems like it has some nice features but i've gotten better accuracy out of a $35 crosman from walmart with pretty much any pellets i put through it.
How can i buy it inindia
Try jsb or rws domed pellets after cleaning the barrel. No crap pellets. Garbage in equals garbage out.
need a .25 repeater
I need a vacation.
@@peterbaugh51 buy me a .25 cal repeater, and I'll grant you a vacation
What is the price
I would also buy a shirt like the one you're wearing too
What shirt. Did the gun have a shirt on? How did i miss that, oh my!
Howmach is the price of 22 gun in uk
Send me one to field test I'll put it through its paces
Mee too
anyway nice gun for the price!!
Put more money towards a proper gun, HW97.
It is available in ILOCOS NORTE
hm?
Crazy north?
I like that its a underlever, But I would like to a see a comparison of this rifle, and the New Benjamin Mag Fire. Or be able to shoot it for a comparison between it and my Diana 460 just to see what the differences are. It looks like the Underlever cocking arm is Not very thick steel.
How thick does steel need to look like?
Imagine dieseling this rifle.
Would be LOUD...
Can yuu put iron sites on it?
No but a red dot works very well
Is it 177 or 22?
177
I need a red sports car and a 22 air gun!!! Not really. My 177 is leathal. I can shoot. I can pull a big boys trigger. Just sayin girls.
How am i just seeing this???!! Now?
Wish there were guns like this made here. DAISY WINCHERSTER LISTENING???
You should have tried talking dirty to it 🤣
Is it available in India ??
Google
Duck Duck Go
Shipping available only in winter...

Do you ship to south africa
No
Lmfao
Only on leap years.
Once the trigger was better the accuracy would improve. When is trigger tech getting involved
Hey heres an idea... Get a stronger finger... Pull up those pants bud.
Bán sang việt nam không
I really wish this was in .22. Probably would have purchased already...
On another note.. you really need to put a better scope on these guns before testing. That accuracy is all over the place and I’m willing to bet it’s the scope. No scope manufacture has lasted more then 20 shots in a springer I had. Also.. JSB pellets. H&N seem to be very unreliable. Every gun i have used them, I always get 1-2 fliers within 10 shots. They just aren’t good pellets
We did try JSB pellets, but it didn't like any of them.
Ouch. Hope it likes rws superdome... My favorite.
Piece of junk- seal leaks and it jams, and canted to the right the magazine drops out.
Sounds like you just didn’t get a good one
Seals were deteriorating at about 75 rounds out of the box and then the trigger jammed. I expected a lot more from this gun.
I saw the Dollar Sportsman have back to back seal failure with this gun
Return policy? Problem? What?
I have two questions to airgundipo.
1st one is
How much price of that ???
And 2 nd one is is it available in Bangladesh????
Thanks.
$159.99. Not sure about availability there, we don't ship there unfortunately.
Hello, do you ship to Indonesia?
