We absolutely f***ing love this - we've published an article on our website - www.retro32.com/demoscene/15042020637-logicoma-and-loonies-way-too-rude-amiga-64kb-demo-revision-2020
browsing through Revision clips... I vividly remember seeing this and thinking "ok. that's number one, hands down" And when it ran 2024 on H0ffman and Teo's live set (with the 1200 hilariously doing a guru meditation rewind of its own) everyone was grooving to every nook and cranny of the tune, it was magic. Absolute Nerdgasm XD
I see this as a continuation of what Budbrain achieved with the Kaos section of the megademo which blew my mind as a kid in 1990. What has been done here with the sample generation in 64k is nothing short of amazing.
This is my personal favorite Amiga production from Revision 2020. The quality of the music is incredible (in addition to the actual song itself being awesome) and I love the sync with the visuals. Great work guys!
I've held back from saying this... my fave Amiga demo to date. There's art types and tech demos, but this is so very well done. I cannot wait to fix my Amiga and run this. It blew me away when I saw it on stream.
I am always amazed when I run this on my A500 and it absolutely knocks the ball out of the park. This is the demo I show to people and say: look what a 35 year old computer can do!
@@HoffmanTH-cam Thanks sir, great work. P.S : you shall put your original Unreal remix (the amiga one) on your channel. I like the 2001 version, but i prefer the original ;)
@Hoffman Long time Mr Fish... I can code all of the effects in your demo, what I'd struggle with is the music. It's it a module? Even with say something like P61A I doubt, even with deltas on the samples, it would crush enough, so as you say, you must be synth-ing or generating the samples. So what gives? I'd like to see how you're generating those instruments.

What a show... Incredible sync!
The ideas of syncronisation and the music in itself is Way Too Proper. Damn what a great demo.

I love it! The sync... wow awesome! And the music is technically and artistically amazing for 64k Amiga!
Superb tune, design and perfect sync, awesome!
What a soundtrack.
Superb ! This is crazy.
Rewatching like the 5th time now. So good! ♥
Nice artwork in 64k only! Awesome
Excellent
MASSIVE TUNE BRO
sso good.. it put a square smile on my face..
Müzik efsane.
Absolutely Brilliant!
Beautiful. Just creative
@Hoffman Yo Dreamfish, your code must have sucked! Muhahahaha.... Woooo, nice one, man. Miss ya.
Oh fuck yeah this bangs
Amazing:) Love it.
Ahh yeahh !!
Gobsmacked. That mod is superb. 4 channels?
Yep, 4 channel protracker.
A damn fine prod, but not what I expected after Iota and Dope on Wax :'DDD
Nice. Is this a .MOD 4ch file?
Sure is.
What is the size of it (uncompressed)? Are you using 4klang? Thanks for the answers.
@@julienbraudel7109 536kb although the patterns might not be optimised in that. Tunes uses generator, my own synth engine which I built and used once.

Wow
I thought I saw a pixel out of place, but it was my mistake.
64kb including the music?
yep
Beatport release plz ❤️
Is it fair tho, the protracker module (one of the best I've heard btw) is not counted in the 64kB...
Erm, not really sure what you mean pal? All the music is inside that 64kb executable.
@@HoffmanTH-cam My mistake. The 8-bit sample cruncher they used must be outstanding.
@@JohnnyReb1976 its a combination of compression and synthesis techniques.

Is it 4klang?
Brilliant :D Love it!
