I just love the contrast between the black and the rainbow colors and the parts that have separation because of the black paper. Oh and in a way it is a wood turning since paper comes from trees.
Hi guys.. what you will find here is that those who use a bandsaw a lot don’t saw “use a push stick” because they understand.. and those saying “use a pushstick do not understand bandsaws.. it’s understandable that you think a push stick is the right way. But your not right. Thanks for your concern all the same.
Oh my Word that is absolutely gorgeous. So hard to believe that you did all that from Paper an Resin. Thank you for sharing your Wonderful Passion and Creations. ❤️
I swear a tear fell from my eye over the finished product. Sounds weird but the colors reminded me of everything good in this crazy world. I just love it so much. Don’t know why I am crying over this art
This is a great wood project book th-cam.com/users/postUgkxkPIWb22DigCqxmlXerCyUF4HCl6eSU2L . Most of the projects use the pallet simply as a source of reclaimed wood not as a recognizable pallet so even if you didn't have a pallet you could make these projects with any reclaimed (or even new) wood. The instructions are excellent. The style is charming and would work with lots of different decor. There are quite a number of projects that involve tiling of teh wood pieces which is a really cool idea and can produce beautiful pieces when working with aged wood.

really really happy you revisited this concept again. you should do a whole series on this resin soaked paper technique and see where it takes you cuz the possibilities seem endless. this one reminds me of abstract art you’d see in a museum but in bowl form. absolutely incredible work. what’s that long tool called you were using to do some of the hollowing?
Thanks. Yes I fully intend to. The tool is the Simon hope pro hollowing tool. Available directly from Simon hope woodturning. Let me know if you like me to send a link for it
That was awesome I would have never thought to put it together the way you did in the bowl to bring out the colors with the finished product thumbs up.
@@thisismossop lol! Guess I should read more, huh? I should've known I wouldn't be the only one to think of it, but I am really curious to see the results! I bet it will be really charming!
Dude. That bowl is epic. I watch alot of these videos for wood, epoxy and other crafty things. This is probably the best one I've seen. I'd love to own that bowl
This started out with me being very sceptical of what the finished product would look like. It finished with me loving the whole look and the contrast between black and rainbow colours.....nice video.
This is incredible looking absolutely amazing work dude, fantastic job. You inspire me to get back into turning I can't wait to get a lathe and start expressing myself again. Your craftsmanship is impeccable 👍👍 Very VERY well done sir.
Interesting patterns, that really are not patterns at all. They flow nicely, and was it a surprise to have a black and red 'almost complete circle' become part of the finished look?? Astounding as always Jack!!
Hey may. No, not a surprise at all.. as I placed the pieces in the mold I made sure to align some so that they would show the layers face on and some so they would show as stripes.

While I will continue to pursue my own direction of wood sculpture, I have decided to subscribe to your channel because of your innovative way of creative thinking. Keep up the great work!
Really nice, Jack. Love the shiny type colours you have for the resin, and the new(er) products you've been getting that awesome mirror finish with. Been looking forward to this all week. Have a great weekend 😊
This is so cool! I love how colorful it is! I'm going to ship you some paper in bold, gorgeous colors and have you custom make me a bowl lol. Not sure how I'll pay to get the finished product back to the states yet. Honestly, you always do amazing work!

Love your videos. Totally hypnotic! Am wondering if you think it would be feasible to glue chunks of pages of an old book together for turning? I think it would be cool to see some text peeping through in places.

@@JackMackWoodturning Still, i'll ask you please, use a stick to push things through that saw.
@@Alejandr0varsay that's one of the benefits of a bandsaw. There is virtually no chance of kickback and it is one of the safest saws to use.
