नेवार भन्ने शब्दले नेपालको एउटा मूलबासी भाषिक समुदायलाई जनाउंदछ। नेवारहरूको मूलथलो काठमाडौं उपत्यका हो। [१] नेवार कुनै जात वा जाति वा जनजाति वा नश्ल वा धर्म विषेश होईन । नेवार एउटा भाषिक समुदाय हो, नेपाल-वासी (अहिलेको काठमाडौं उपत्यका) को साझा संस्कृति हो। नेवार भित्र कयौँ मूल-जातिहरू छन - (आदिबासी, किरांत, कन्याकुब्ज, बंगाली, राजस्थानी, आसामी, तिबत्ती, मैथिली, आदि)। नेवार भित्र सनातन धर्म अन्तर्गतका धेरै सम्प्रदाय हरु छन - (शैव, शाक्त, तान्त्र, वैदिक, वज्रयान, महायान, नाथ, वैश्नव, आदि)। नेवार भित्र ४ जात-वर्ण (ब्राह्मण, क्षत्रीय, वैश्य, शुद्र) र यस भित्र थुप्रै उप-जातहरू रहेका छन (ज्यापू, श्रेष्ठ, क्षत्रीय, गुभाजू, उराय, सायमी, ब्राह्मण, नाय, गथु, भा, द्यला, आदि)। यसैगरी नेवार भित्र मूलत: ३ नस्ल छन - आर्य, द्रविड, मंगोल । नेवार समुदाय साँस्कृतिक रूपले निकै सम्पन्न जाति हो ।

the real fact is that 'Shrestha's' are the highest class people , and the Chhatharias are infact shresthas who got their names modified based on their jobs ..the shresthas who involved in teaching the king's heir became Joshis , the mantri became Amatya, The army Chiefs became Pradhans and the shresthas who maintained king's finance (राज्य ढुकुटि) became Rajbhandaris....These Shresthas are regarded higher level because they gained the respected jobs and they get to work in the King's palace..which was considered the most respectful profession and extent to the national power..There are also Chatharia Shresthas whose caste name actually is Shrestha..The so called Panchtharia Shresthas were other non newar people who were disguised as newas by immitating newa culture and changing their Surnames in their citizenship certificates as 'Shresthas' or even Pradhans ..They were able to change their surnames by briebing the local governers as the government wasnt as strict then , as it is now .
So in concluding the dispute, All higher class newa groups are collectively called Shrestha..Shrestha literally means the best symbolizing that the High class newa people were Royal and nobel and Best of them all !

Kathmandu valley is the inhabitants of the Newar people. But who are the Newar people?
Well, it is now known that the section of Newar people especially belonging to the Jyapu community is Kirat.
In short, we have to break the Newar communities to understand this.
Among the Newar communities -
Jyapu (Maharjan, Dangol, Singh, Suwal, Prajapati, Tandukar, Byanjankar, etc.), Gopali, Balami = Kirat
Shakya/Vajracharya = Koliyas/Shakyas + Vedic Aryans
Rajopadhyaya = Kanyakubjia Brahmins (Vedic Aryans)
Chathariya (Malla, Pradhan, Rajbhandari, Joshi, Karmacharya, etc.) = Maithil Karnat Kshatriya + Mallas + Vrijji (Lichchavi) + Rajputs (Mix of non-Vedic Aryans)
Pachathariya (Shresthas) = Vrijji (Lichchavi) + Vaisya Thakuris + some Kirat (Mix of non-Vedic Aryan and some Kirat)
Uray (Tuladhar, Shilpakar, Bania, Tamrakar, etc.) = Vaisya Thakuri + Shakya/Vajracharya + Tibetans (due to their trading with Lhasa)
Pode, Chyame, Kasai, Dhobi, Kapali, etc = Lower castes are a mix of Maithil (ethnic Aryan) + Kirat (Mongoloid), groups
I hope that Newari who is descendants of Kirat celebrate Sakela/Sakewa festival from now on. Please realize your original identity because, without paichan and culture, we are nobody. We Kiratis have been separated for so long after the coming of Licchavis and the introduction of the caste system in Nepal by the Licchavi king. It is shameful today that we are known by the different ethnic groups because of the caste system imposed on Nepali society. We cannot afford to be divided by this evil caste system anymore. This caste system does not belong to our Kirat people. I hope all Kiratis unite as One family again. And as we move to the year 2021 and onward, let's hope we see more Kiratis coming to political power in Nepal. Let's make Nepal a great country in Asia.

आज नेपालमा एक जना पनि बौद्ध छैनन।बौद्ध धर्मी मा जन्मको आधारमा परिश्रम गरि पुर्खौली पेशा भनेर कोही कसैले पनि काम गर्नु हुंदैन।ठूलो सानो जाती भन्ने हुंदैन। योग्यता अनुसार सबैले काम गर्छन।तपाईं को भिडियो मा देखाएको चाडपर्ब मान्ने कोही पनि बौद्ध हुंदैन।त्यो बाहेक मन्छे मर्दा खेरी भोज गरेर बर्ष दिन सेतो लुगा लगाउने,रथमा देउता राखेर तान्ने,देबता/लाखे को मुखौटा राखेर नाच्ने,बाजा बजाएर देउता कहाँ जाने,भोज भतेर गर्ने,भोटो देखाउने,गाइजात्रा,इन्द्रजात्रा,घोडेजात्रा आदि जात्रा केही पनि बौद्धहरुले मान्दैन किन कि बिश्व मा बौद्ध धर्म को सिद्धान्त जस्तो ब्यबहारिक कसैको पनि छैन जस्तो नास्तिक,आफ्नो दु:ख आफैले हटाउनु पर्ने,कुनै पनि कुसंस्कार र कुसंस्कृती मान्नु नपर्ने आदि।बुद्ध भुमी भारत र बढी बौद्ध भएको चीन,भुटान, र्श्री लंका जस्तो बौद्ध राष्ट्र मा कुनै खाले चाडपर्ब नगन्य मात्रै छ।
अन्तमा हिन्दु देबी कुमारी को चलन भारत कर्णाटक को प्रथा हो नेपाल को तराइ को सिमरा मा हरिदेबले पुर्याको मा पछी का.उ. का राजा जय प्रकाश मल्लले का.उ. मा प्रचलनमा ल्याए।तुलजा भवानी नैं कुमारी हुन।
बेल बिबाह भनेको इसाको सातौं शताब्दी मा भारतका बौद्ध राजा हर्षबर्धनका सैनिकहरुले भारतका आतंककारी ब्राह्मणहरुलाइ बनेपा सम्म पिछा गरेको तथा बचेका ब्राह्मणहरुको आफ्ना साना नानीहरुलाइ बौद्धहरुबाट बचाउन बेल संग बिबाह गराए को हो नेवारको चलन हैन।
रंजना लिपि भनेको देबनागरिक लिपि बन्दै गरेको बेला को लिपि हो बेद सन् 1320 मा लेखेको हो त्यस्मा रंजना लिपि भनिने लिपि ले लेखेको छ।90% हिन्दु ग्रन्थहरुमा त्येही लिपि मा छ भारतमा।संस्कृत भाषा भारतमा बुद्धको मातृभाषा पाली को 30% र अन्य देश को 70% राखेर इसाको पाँचौ शताब्दी मा बनेको भाषा हो।देबनागरिक लिपि पाली लिपि बाटै बनाए को हो।जस्तो बुद्ध को पाला मा पाली मा"क" + हो।सम्राट अशोकको पाला हुँदै कनिष्क सम्म बिकाश भै रहेको मा इसा को पाँचौ शताब्दी मा ब्राह्मणहरुले संस्कृत भाषा बनाउन पाली भाषा नै नष्ट गरे बौद्ध धर्म नष्ट गरे जस्तै।
नेपाली संबत भारत को बौद्ध सम्राट कनिष्क ले चलाएको शक संबत मा आधारित हो।लिच्छिबी राजा राघबदेब ले नेपालमा ल्याएको।सं.रा.सं. मा रंजना लिपि र नेपाली संबत धितो राखेर नेपाल सदस्य बनेको भन्ने राजा महेन्द्र को दाबी सत्य हो भन्ने लाग्दैन।
