Still competing in the TT in fifties. Amazing. Love his enthusiasm and passion for racing. Great interview. Thx. His support from his family. Especially his wife is incredible.
I met John in Banbury at a meet and greet and talk show with James Whitam. John is such a thoroughly nice down to earth guy. And genuinely great racer. So was James Whitam . That’s what I like about Motor Cycle racers , they are genuinely great guys to speak to .
John has done more for real road racing than anyone else and should be racing for as long as he feels he can. Age is only a number after alls said and done. A proper gentleman and legend.
@@CJRSBKit was easy for Honda to keep supplying Joey with machinery as he’s was so self-contained and could pretty much look after himself. John is different in that he’s an icon and Honda owe him a lot, but he’s now taking a seat that could arguably go to a more competitive and younger rider. By all means support John with machinery as long as he wants to race but run a three rider team with John as the talisman alongside two other top riders.
I go to the TT every year these chaps are amazing, John is amazing he could do more but he wants to stay alive he's an inspiration to all riders and many are watching and following him
“Don’t drink MeGuinness” says John to a wasp. “When I was riding it, it felt like I was riding me misses.” Quote of the year. Bet that gave Mrs McGuinness a wee cheeky smile. John you’re an absolute genuine legend. Ride safe.
Why the brewing company never sponsored John is a mystery to me. PS: John, top 10 placing is nothing to sneeze at. Your entitled to do whatever you like.
Ironic that the backdrop to this interview was a lovely brick wall ! and michael rutter once told me "john mcguinness has never laid a brick in his life"...lol,...

Becky's heard it all before... plus she gives it back to him behind the scenes, it's great to see :)
Great bloke keep going you are doing what all riders would love to have the talent to do...
"When I was riding it , it was like riding my missus...I knew what to do" 🤣😂💯👌 Best comment ever
He's certainly one of a kind with that type of quote!
Great interview, I could listen to hours of that.

It's alcohol I'm not even sure it would be legal for motorsports being sponsored by brewing company's

He was admiring the brickwork, and the small wall surrounding the area haha!
Lovely stuff. What an absolute legend
Still consistently finishing top 10 at the fastest and hardest road race in the world. He’s not ready for retirement yet 💪

If ya need a labourer John give us a shout. 50 now but reckon I can keep up with ya and I mash a good tea!
He's done so much for racing, should be Sir John Mcguinness. C'mon people who's with me?
He's a top lad who definitely deserves a knighthood.
Ha! I have the same lamb-less diet in my house
John's teeth are newer than the bike
Cant get a good pint Guinness in the uk 😉
