2024 Nobel Prize Laureate for Translation! ❤️
Thank you, Debbie, for your inspiration, Ta Ta~! 🙏
I’ve belatedly learnt your translated (?) Korean name is Kum, Bora.
Great translator of Korean to English.
Thanks for translating books of Hankang.
World Lit gang who here
"gangnam style had not happened"
ettore, this made my day hahah
Catch me having this bs on loop the entire day 😪🤟🏻
Same 😭
hey there, saddos xx
To be honest, I think Deborah Smith should receive the Nobel Prize, not Han Gang.. Han Gang's reputation was not even close to Lee Mun-yeol or Hwang Seok-young and any other renowned Korean novelists including Park kyung lee or Kim dong lee etc., in Korean literature society. but Han has become so big after Deborah's translation.. I wonder if Han's novels have sizable literary value when read in Korean. Deborah should translate truely great Korean novelists instead of Han gang.
