During the Festa '22, V explained why he hasn't yet released his music, saying he became dissatisfied with the flow of the tracks. Suga then said it was probably more imprortant to just release the music and learn from the experience, than to fret over the flow. Suga reasoned that most people have their own playlists to arrange their musical tastes. Suga also said that he does offer advice when asked, Yup, your're right Suga is a great Mentor!!!!
V's original version was supposed to be on his mixed tape and was all English. When they decided to put it on the BE album, some lyrics were changed and/or converted to Korean, and the rappers wrote their parts. V co-produced the song with a friend of his, NIve. NIve did a TH-cam explanation of the production process, breaking down all the sounds. Having watched that, for example, I know that NIve used his own voice for that musical interlude at the end of the song. :) You can actually hear a small clip of V's original song on their show In the Soop, season 1, because he sings it to himself while out on a boat on the lake.
The first time I listened to this song (the day it was released) without reading lyrics. I felt the sadness and sorrow. I was teary-eyed at first and then came V's 'Oh this ground feels so heavier', I started crying a river.
Same!! And followed up by that solemn "I just wanna be happier"...sobs!! Jimin's voice is just so beautiful and sad. It really did hit so many feels at that time. Still does. I don't think a lot of people would understand how badly we needed not only comfort from them, but to express our sadness and depression and for it to be seen and to be okay. BTS have that constant revolving door of validation.
'V' is my bias and not because his visuals (which he smokin' hot) what I love, is his voice and music style, several songs on his solo album which includes lots of jazz etc. The Album is called Layover.
Although V wrote this song to be Included in his mixtape, I’m glad it was it was in the BE album. That whole album was their emotions during the pandemic, especially since no one knew how to deal with it. I’m really too emotionally attached to this song lol I’m not embarrassed to say that I cried when I saw this song live. Day 1 LA (the first time this was performed in front of army), there were so many army in front of me crying. When they walked down the stage during the instrumental part of the song was so powerful to see. And then the audacity to transition into Black Swan after 😭 V shines for me in this song, especially with how he ends it. Truly a beautiful song from start to finish 💜 P.S: All the members got to interview another member, so in this case Suga interviewed V. I think RM interviewed Suga if you’re interested in that. All members contributed to tracks in the BE album so they talk about their songs. Since it was mentioned here “Fly to my Room” is a track with just Suga, Jhope, V, and Jimin. The other three members (Jin, Jk, and RM) were in a track called “Stay”
I absolutely love V. His voice. His voice’s artistry was what first caught my attention. Everything that he puts his hands to are just breathtaking. I cannot wait for his mixtape. Please V soon. Please
Like V said, he is very true to his emotions and he needs to be in the exactly right mood for a song to come through as authentically as he wants it. He’s a very sensitive, introspective person. Honestly, I feel he has that in common with SUGA, who is also one of the most emotionally vulnerable and authentic members in his songwriting, so I’m glad Suga could give him some advice here, as a person who is more experienced in writing and releasing solo songs. Once you’ve listened to more of the BE album, maybe you could react to the other 6 interviews too? They’re all super fascinating. Blue and Grey is in my top 5 favourite songs of all time, it was released during winter of 2020 when so many were dealing with extreme loneliness from the social isolation (still ongoing now of course) and I’m so grateful to him for sharing it. It feels so comforting, like someone silently sitting next to you and listening to your troubles. It’s still my go to comfort song when I’m lonely or depressed
I’ve watched a few videos that shows how supportive Suga has been to V, especially in the beginning years of BTS. As he became an older brother he was someone V could depend on to help him speak for himself within the group and in public/at events as they spoke the same dialect. As you know V is a character and some things he used to say was misunderstood by people until Suga “translated “ V language.
I'm kind of scared of V's delete button. I'm happy that Suga advised him to keep all the files, as it's so true that the time will come when they feel right to be rearranged and released. 💜 I still vividly remember when a fan asked about a song we got a snippet of - unofficial title "Travel With Me" - and Taehyung replied he doesn't have the original file anymore, as he deleted it as soon as he posted that snippet. 😭😭 I can't get over that song. I love it. I refuse to believe we are never getting the full track. 😭 I really hope he took Yoongi's advice to heart. I can't stand to think how many gems would be lost from the world otherwise.💔
I also loved seeing Suga as the mentor. He applied just the right amount of pressure to encourage V to keep working on his mixtape and yet was so understanding of V’s creative process exploring being a new songwriter surrounded by some amazing songwriters and producers within BTS. It would be hard not to feel overwhelmed but Suga offered such good advice. He didn’t flex. He just listened and asked some great questions.
This song is so beautiful. You're so right that their parts are placed perfectly and I have to say when Jimin sings English lyrics it just hits different 💜
Loved this reaction!! This song is so special and V really shines, as well as all of the members! V’s songwriting always gets me in my emotions I really can’t wait for his mixtape it’s going to be amazing I’m sure! I love Suga and Tae’s friendship it’s so pure and respectful (I hope you eventually react to Bon Voyage to see part of when they got so close) The placement of each member in this song is *chefs kiss* 💜💜💜 another song that really shows off each member IMO that you should react is Your Eyes Tell I’d love to see you react to it!
Lyrical genius is true! I heard V’s song on a winter day during pandemic and it hit me that when song ended I realized I was crying! It was such a stress reliever and I didn’t k ow I needed to cry! 💜✊🏽💜 BTS help heal! Music artistry and healing is WORD
The entire BE Album was a masterpiece and this song is one of the most beautiful of the group. It was difficult for me to pick a favorite but this is one of them. V did a great job on this song.
Suga and RM always tease Tae about his mixtape. It's been 3 years. Even Jimin said he just started his album and he's be finished before Tae. I believe him.
V said in his vlog that he's done and he's thinking about the MVs now . He's a moody person so I'm not waiting him to release it yet . But I think he'll be the first vocal line member to release it and maybe Jk too . As for Jimin he's making one song with Suga rn
@@user-qd5gr8ql2w as long as it's been... I only believe he'll release it before Jin and not anybody else. Moody isn't the problem. He siked himself out. He should have listened to Yoongi 2 years ago, twice Yoongi gave excellent advice to the vocal line and they ignore him.
every time V writes and composes a song it's always amazing, it just depends on his mood to release the song, he really likes to write it in English, many of his songs are in English, maybe because so that all ARMYs around the world can enjoy it, and BTS has 2 the person who has the unique voice of V and jimin, i like them both, Borahe 💜
Hi John, listen to "Louder than Bombs" and "Lie" by Jimin. They are of a darker color especially "Lie" which is one of my favorites from their Wings Era 2016. Thank you for this reaction...✌💜
Actually recently Suga said that a lot of kpop idols come to him to ask him for advices . Also to me I think VMIN were basically flexing their vocals and their beautiful Harmonies throughout the entire album
Loved your reaction. I think it's wonderful when people are accepting of other genre's of music. If you remember all the Disney classic cartoons had classical music in the background. V is an old soul. He was listening to Bing Crosby and then Procul Harem (Whiter Shade of Pale) on his vlog the other day. I think his album will be fantastic 👌 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
V Kim Taehyung is such a gentle kind old soul, he is so beautiful his music really reflects his moods and emotions so well, when you listen to his songs it really hits you in your heart it leave unforgettable print. He's so relatable and feels like is going through emotions and doubt we all do. Thanks so much for amazing reaction Much love 💜
Brilliant - the lyrics, the vocals, the interview with SUGA and V, the unplugged and live performances AND this format!! All of the vocals are so crisp!!
From the moment I first listened to BE this song really stood out to me. I love it so much. I also am really, REALLY looking forward to V’s mixtape. His personal music taste as well as the style of his own music matches mine very closely. Since this interview he has told us that he binned the lot and was starting again😢. A few months ago he posted an IG story (and then promptly deleted it) of another beautiful song he had decided to bin. Funnily enough it uses the same organ melody that later appeared in Yet To Come.
@@JohnReavesLive I think they are each perfectionists, living and working with other perfectionists. They are constantly saying ‘it could be better’! I think Yoongi is the most practical - he has, of them all, the most ‘suck it and see’ mentality I think.
I was very pleased to see you react to the interview between SUGA and V. Your take on it from the standpoint of a singer songwriter was interesting. I hope that V will take SUGA’s advice to heart. He reiterated that advice at the FESTA 2022 dinner so hopefully we’ll see V finish what will now be his first solo album rather than a mixtape to launch his solo career. The concert version of Blue and Grey was so beautifully staged from their outfits to the set. They all perform beautifully but for me Jin stands out with the perfect tone for this touching song. The transition into Black Swan was seamless. Thank you for letting that continue to the end.
Suggestions for songs? I would recommend "Home" and "Louder Than Bombs". For live performances, I would recommend "Festa 2020 BTS Room Live" and "ARMYpedia". Thank you so much for the reaction, "Blue & Grey" is one of my favorite tracks off the "BE" album. So this was amazing!! Thanks for sharing in the experience.
I believe louder than bombs is on the list for very soon! And I can’t wait to hear it!! 🙌🙌 all great suggestions and I’ll make sure they’re on the list!
This topic is very important, written by V and produced by EL REY SUGA, the two members of the group who suffer from depression, it is very nice because they continue to open the paths to teach what mental illnesses are and create bridges so that they are seen naturally and mental health doctors, speak it more freely without stigmas.
Thank you so much for this reaction. I love this song and how each member shines in it. I especially love the harmony between Jin and JK followed by Jimin and V - real close your eyes in bliss stuff. In the first season of their series "In the Soop" there is a scene where V took their boat to the middle of the river to have some alone time. He then said he was writing a song in English and using a translation app for the words. He plays the song on his phone and as the camera recedes above him the "Where's my angel" line plays. Him on the boat, the river with the tree-lined banks and the music playing. Gorgeous! And we get Black Swan as a bonus! Bless you. And thank you for your comments about Suga - he is always direct and profound when he speaks; so caring for his younger members even though he appears inscrutable most of the time. Jimin once said to him that he is practically their dad.
I'm not sure why, but I'd never watched the interview between SUGA and V before - amazing! So many interesting thoughts that are relevant to all writing, not just song writing. I so enjoy all the BTS behind the scenes/interviews on their creative processes: fascinating! Don't worry, I was "nerding out" with you!
RM and Suga have similar interviews for this album where they talk go into their song writing/ music production process, it's very interesting to listen to them talk but I guess you'll watch those when you do other songs from BE. I'm glad Suga told V that he doesn't have a narrow spectrum, RM and Suga from the start have always tried to push and help the other members to be more involved in the music production. they are all so supportive of each other, I love it.
Singularity was actually written by RM, Stigma was written by V. Check it out. It’s awesome but like devastatingly beautiful….. P.S. pls check out BTS Festa Dinner 2022. You’ll get a lot of answers you’re seeking about the members and their future plans. Also, ‘Respect’ by RM - Suga unit. Pls pls pls🙏🏻💜💜💜
Loved that you watched the interview! This is a song I hold dear and does get make me feel seen when I’m sad about the mess of the world the last few years. That deep empathy and really authentic feelings is one thing I especially appreciate about the guys. The lives of this just make me love how delicately they treat it. Beautiful song and a real testament to Vs song writing abilities. That boy has been working on his mix tape for years and keeps taunting us with snippets of the tracks he’s deleting… by previewing them a bit then deleting all the files. I still can’t wait for the other 6 mixtapes a full course musical meal.
In the live performance, Blue and Grey was the perfect lead in to Black Swan. The songs may be different, but they compliment each other so well. Not like two sides of the same coin, but more like they move through the world hand in hand. To be honest, Blue and Grey feels like Tae (it has his energy and flow; his essence in a song). Whereas Black Swan is Jimin (his grace, energy, and his essence distilled into music and motion). I wish Tae could see what we do in the beauty of song writing. His mixtape, which will now be a full album, has been in the works for so long. But he never seems quite satisfied. At this stage it's hard to tell if he's just being too hard on himself and his music - too much of a perfectionist - or if it is just missing that one song , or one voice, that will bring it all together. Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to the finished result. In fact, it's Tae's album I'm looking forward to the most. And Yoongi's. And Jimin's. Oh, and Jin's will be beautiful. And Namjoon, when he sings he has such a melodic voice; and dynamic rap. And of course Jungkook is just amazing.💜 I would not be surprised if there was a strong jazz/blues vibe in Tae's solo album. Especially given the type of music in his playlists (as seen on his VLives, etc.). He has a strong jazz vibe in what he listens to; from more modern styles, to the classics like Etta James. I love his taste in music.💜 Which reminds me, have you seen the VLog he did? Such a relaxed drive, great music, good food... And the Dentist. And Jimin's VLog is great too.💜 Sorry I went on so long. Sometimes my thoughts take over, and I don't know how to stop them. Or even if I should. Thank you for your wonderful reactions, they are so thoughtful and in-depth. And like you, I loved the interview with Yoongi and Tae. I love the way their minds work; and they are the two I relate to the most. Probably because I am like a mix of equal parts Yoongi and Tae; with a large dollop of Namjoon; and a decent sprinkling of Jimin. Which sounds weird I know... But you get what I mean. Thank you, and Borahae John💜💜
Ohhhhh when you said that Blue & Grey is very Tae and Black Swan is very Jimin it resonated... And then I realized that for me, the next one is On, and it's very Jungkook. That almost frenetic energy, pushing forward defiantly. Thank you for that! It's another great way to see these songs
@@evantesseract737 Okay, I agree completely. Jungkook's intensity during On was... Intimidating. I remember thinking at one stage that he looked ready to kill someone. But I was awed by it. And his solo within it - that high note! It was so beautiful... and didn't hurt to listen to. On was the first BTS song I heard, and it was all it took.💜
Each of the rap parts paint a vivid picture, so beautiful. My favorite is J-HOPE's. It paints a picture of humb helplessness, like no other song ever. Regarding V's mixtape, he revealed before that he deleted some songs, including that song he played for ARMY while driving. They all suffer from massive imposter's syndrome and the songs they write are the casualties. V's solo song OST "Sweet Night" is also good, and in his wheelhouse. You'll love it!
Check also their cover *"I'LL BE MISSING YOU"* by puff daddy :) *BTS* cover Btw YES they are all incredible talented. But For me *JIMIN HAS UNIQUE VOICE and His voice hit different when it comes to English and japanese*
V, he might not have released his proper full mixtape just like the other members but the songs that he produced and released mostly is for Kdrama and they are very successful songs. V might be pressured but not with other members probably with himself he needs to beat his own record.
Blue&Gray, "Don't say it's okay because I'm not okay." I love this part. When I feel anxiety and depressed, some people say "Don't care such a small thing! You are okay!" Trying to push me up sometimes hurts me. Feels like I'm forced to behave as I'm happy. Taehyung knows this feeling so we can share this scar. Appreciate him to tell us his inner voice through music.
Blue & Grey, probably one of the most beautiful and saddest song I have ever heard. First couple of times I listened to it, I cried. I mean get down and bawled my eyes out ugly cry it hit me so hard. Been there, to many times to count. I can listen to it now though without the ugly cry, still can bring tears to my eyes but for the sheer beauty of the song and lyrics. Now the real treat was Black Swan...seeing it performed live was so awesome. I have one question for you John, can you feel the energy they give off through the screen? I mean really, I have watched many other bands through "live concert footage" and none have been able to "pass" their energy through the screen like BTS can. It's amazing!! There is nothing these young men can't do!! They are just that good singing, dancing, yes and rapping and their visuals wow!! Thanks for two great reactions to two wonderfully beautiful songs!! Looking for to more of your reactions, still binge watching, LOL!! Keep on keeping on!!
Taehyung wrote this song in English first, there is a version from their series In The Soop where he teased it. Jose Ochoa posted a cleaned up version of it th-cam.com/video/-ygueig3Ep0/w-d-xo.html Background to this song: Tae said that he had written it because of the pandemic, but since mid to late 2019 there were situations where you could feel he was not alright, he stumbled on the red carpet, he looked like an automaton, he also was very withdrawn. The English version hits different and I think it hits deeper. As for his mixtape, he has said recently that he has deleted all those songs - even the songs he teased us about on his twitter and IG.
Oooh…a little bonus black swan added. Love that💜thanks John! Two amazing songs! Always better with army💜the guys just have a different energy thats so good. They do sometimes have their band “ghost” with them at live shows, couldn’t say for sure if they were playing during blue and grey.
Thank you for another so enjoyable reaction. Just wanted to let you know,, an absolute must, that's a newer posted excellent vid, that shows many rarer not shown or seen by many, of Jimin's most iconic, legendary high notes, as well as lower registry, that I so recommend & know you would enjoy reacting to: ❤️Park Jimin REAL LIVE vocals (high notes, growls, vocal effects, background vocals) 2022 by new channel TheJiminVideos th-cam.com/video/zK24T69ExFY/w-d-xo.html Shows Jimin's breathtakingly amazing full vocal range, including mid & lower registry as well as Jimin's more growly, raspy, seductive vocal abilities since the beginning in 2013 til quite recent, including acoustic & acappella!! Since there is the title of of the song in each clip, you'll get to be introduced to some awesome BTS songs you've yet to hear! Jimin is now not only Main Dancer & Lead Voclaist if BTS but now has been awarded the prestigious title now 4 yrs in a tow consecutively for King of Kpop, as well as Best Dancer in Kpop, also 4 yrs in a row.
Blue and Grey is a Beautiful song. I love it. It relates to me in so many ways. Thank you for reacting to Blue and Grey. Love your reaction. Thank You John. 🤟💪💜
The interview, they have one for each member, they interview each other. About V mixtape.. He talks about it since, maybe more than two years:)) he keeps working on it. Blue and gray was written for the mixtape, but since he keeps changing the track list and this song was fitting on their Be album.. They made it a Bts song. We don't know how was exactly with just V as, at least I think that the rap verses were written independently, as usually.. About songwriting.. I kind of got that Suga is somehow more relaxed, "it doesn't have to be perfect".. If interested watch the interview between RM an Suga from that series...
I like that you noted JK's precision as a good thing... A lot of people assume they're doing a lot of real-time processing to make him sound like the album tracks 😂 I stopped listening to someone the other day when they were certain he was heavily autotuned because he was holding a very clear straight note 😂 Anyway it's a tiny detail, but it's nice to see his vocal control being appreciated 😁
I really want you to check out Stay Alive (for 7 fates Chakho, BTS webtoon, sung byJK. Make sure listen to the longer version with a web mv) and Over the Horizon ( Samsung cell phone ring tone). Both Suga produced. You will find out what Suga can do.
I've listened to this song several times before and it was alright, nothing special. Sometime last year (2023), I was so down. I'm having anxiety, I watched Permission to Dance-LA on Disney+, Blue & Grey got me sobbing. I never thought I will be affected by this song so hard.
Are you gonna start a BE album reaction?! Fly to my room is my favorite . You know what I just saw a video of how BTS made their BE album by fandoms unite surprisingly V did a lot of things and gave a lot of ideas when I say a lot I mean it . He was the project manager and the visuals director and he's the one who thought of LGO concept...etc . I'm just so proud of him I like him even more now
I remember the moment Blue and Grey began in LA. I lyrically relate so well to V’s feeling and sentiment in this song. I felt all the emotion coming from them while performing it. Then, Black Swan choreography blew me away. It was so freaking amazing! It was my first time seeing them live after wanting to for 5 years. I started crying from just how breathtaking this set was. I was so absolutely moved by it all. I was fortunate to see it 3 more times between LA and Vegas. Memories I will always cherish. I appreciate so much the amount of effort and love and passion these 7 men put into their producing, lyricism, and performances. It’s wonderful to see how much you completely get it! Thank you.
I'm soo glad someone appreciates Blue and Grey and the vocal capabilities of the band in this particular song. John never fails as a reactor! Love you u amazing human! I recommend you to watch 'film out' alongside it's explanation, coz it's a really beautiful song and video. Also please react to Jungkook and Suga's Stay Alive. It's an amazing song and it is also really deep and JK is nothing but amazing in it. Please keep reacting, I hope the channel reaches 100k soon!💜💜
This is an incredibly touching song. I hope it brought hope to many who were devastated after losing a loved one in the pandemic. I was thrilled and moved that they found a way to incorporate it into the PTD concerts. Great reaction, thanks!💜
I enjoyed all the BE- hind story interviews so thank you for including this one. It is nice to hear each one of them seriously talk about music, they each have so much depth and talent.
9:08 SUGA is born 1993 and V 1995 so there is a 2 year difference. I agree with you about SUGA being a great mentor and having lots of experience etc. so the following is not about that. I just wanted to point out something when on the subject of younger/older in BTS. It's often so much talk about someone being the youngest or oldest or younger/older or maknae line or hyung line etc. so it feels like the difference is huge but honestly now when they all is around mid 20's to 30's it's not that much of a age difference as when they were teenagers and the oldest was 20. They are born between December 1992 and September 1997 thats a little less than a full 5 years, that's not a lot. My siblings and I were all born within a span of 6 years but after everyone were in their 20's and especially near mid 20's and up it was no longer really a noticeable age difference. But as kids my oldest sibling was "SOOO mature and old" in my eyes but now we are all the same age. Just wanted to share this because sometimes people make it like the difference is so huge. But for example between Jin and Suga the actual difference is just 3 months, dec 1992 - Mars 1993. And hyung lines RM and j-hope is born only 1 year after maknae lines Tae and Jimin. BTS in order of age: 1992 Jin 1993 SUGA 1994 j-hope 1994 RM 1995 Jimin 1995 Tae 1997 JK
Those COVID era songs hit hard 🥹 When Blue & Grey ( and BE) came out my little brother had just died the week before and it was MONTHS before I could listen to that song without bawling so I just didn’t listen to it very much….then they did it on MTV Unplugged and I had to go through it again 😂🥺 It’s just so sad, but also comforting 🥹💜 And then I cried again when they did it at the PTD shows 😂
:)) jazz will not be surprising, we all know he songs great on jazz and R&B. I think that's were his mixtape originally went, but.. In the last reference(the fiesta dinner) he said he's thinking he doesn't have to stay on one genre... And yes Suga kept encouraging him, all the time.. But he can't make up him mind.. And he grows and changes as a person, so the mixtape he stated 2 years ago.. It might be completely something else when it finally comes out.
During the Festa '22, V explained why he hasn't yet released his music, saying he became dissatisfied with the flow of the tracks. You can actually hear a small clip of V's original song on their show In the Soop, season 1, because he sings it to himself while out on a boat on the lake.
Tae actually have the final say which rap line will be use bec RM complained Tae rejected his and Tae used that of Suga
The first time I listened to this song (the day it was released) without reading lyrics. I felt the sadness and sorrow. I was teary-eyed at first and then came V's 'Oh this ground feels so heavier', I started crying a river.
I can see that for sure! This song is so deep, honest, and vulnerable.
Same i felt it too! I played this song again & again in that day and saw translations on next 2 days.
Jimin and V harmonie is heaven😇
'V' is my bias and not because his visuals (which he smokin' hot) what I love, is his voice and music style, several songs on his solo album which includes lots of jazz etc. The Album is called Layover.
Not only Jazz, but I could see V singing Big Band songs (think Andrew Sisters, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby)

For real I hope so too! He is the one that I have no clue what to expect with! I love it!
This song is so beautiful. Thank you! V and Jimin's voices are so good here. 💜
I love "its definitely you" by V n Jin .. check out bts promp party: unite stage
I’ve watched a few videos that shows how supportive Suga has been to V, especially in the beginning years of BTS. I hope V takes the plunge and follows SUGA’s advice and goes for it. It would be great to have an album from him very soon.
This song is so beautiful. You're so right that their parts are placed perfectly and I have to say when Jimin sings English lyrics it just hits different 💜
Oh btw John.. I wanted to tell you I'm rhondarayna.. rayna like rain lol..over on Twitch just so that won't be confusing for you. 😋
,
V's songs are all increadible....love of them. Specially singularity...
Jk has perfect pitch. If you are wondering why he sound like he ate the cd.
Bahahahaha right!! It’s so clean I love it!
Fun fact - V said he likes Jin's voice in this song
Jimin's vocals on this song give me goosebumps ❤️ it's stunning
Jimin su voz es tan especial lo amo 💜💜💜🇨🇱🇨🇱
Beautiful song ,Taehyung is so special person .Nice reaction !
Jimin's intro never fails to give me goosebumps. 🫠 This song is one of my favorites for sure.
Lyrical genius is true! I heard V’s song on a winter day during pandemic and it hit me that when song ended I realized I was crying! It was such a stress reliever and I didn’t k ow I needed to cry! 💜✊🏽💜 BTS help heal! Music artistry and healing is WORD
for me it's Jks and Jins harmonious harmony.. it sounds so good when you hear it with both headphones
The entire BE Album was a masterpiece and this song is one of the most beautiful of the group. It was difficult for me to pick a favorite but this is one of them. V did a great job on this song.
I totally agree!!! It is so sad people forget about it…In my opinion, BE album is so underrated.
V’s voice is so beautiful! Always touches my heart.
Both coming very, very soon.
I can’t wait to hear it and to be honest I love how different his style is, so uniquely V 💜
V's voice masterpiece!!!
A lot of V’s songs were co-written by RM (esp in their earlier days) cuz V often went to RM for advice
If you want to hear other masterpieces from V you have to check out Stigma live and Lyrics Inner Child and Winter Bear
Stigma is coming VERY soon.
V Kim Taehyung is such a gentle kind old soul, he is so beautiful his music really reflects his moods and emotions so well, when you listen to his songs it really hits you in your heart it leave unforgettable print. He's so relatable and feels like is going through emotions and doubt we all do.
Thanks so much for amazing reaction
Much love 💜
Brilliant - the lyrics, the vocals, the interview with SUGA and V, the unplugged and live performances AND this format!! All of the vocals are so crisp!!
Ahhh thank you so much Linda!! It’s all megs master plan to get me ARMY! (Totally worked!)
@@JohnReavesLive I HOPE to meet up with Meg at Hobipalooza. She is leading you perfectly!
This song is so beautiful
I hope you get to listen 4 o’clock with V and RM. Enjoyed watching your reactions
The transition from Blue & Gray to Black Swan will always give me chills and goosebumps 💜💜💜
The song that uses the same melody in Yet to Come, which song was it?
It’s crazy how in your head you can be about something you’re working on that the whole world would appreciate! What do you think the cause is of it?
Ahh for real thank you so much lol I was worried people would be like.. what are you doing?! But it just felt right!
Oh the live performance at the end transitioned to Black Swan..one of their best song/performance transitions ever
Blue & Grey is so beautiful. I still get goosebumps when I hear it. It was so powerful hearing this during Covid. I think we all cried!
This topic is very important, written by V and produced by EL REY SUGA, the two members of the group who suffer from depression, it is very nice because they continue to open the paths to teach what mental illnesses are and create bridges so that they are seen naturally and mental health doctors, speak it more freely without stigmas.
Jk voice is never fail
The first time I heard this song, I couldn’t stop crying. It came out during the pandemic and it completely explained how we all felt.
This is one of my favorites, it touched my heart even before I got the chance to read the lyrics! the emotions really come through on every line.
V💜💜💜💜
Vocal line killing it.. awesome voices..
Jin' s vocal is heavenly good here!
And the harmony between Jin and Jk is a climax of the song
this song just tugs my heartstrings....😢😢
And of course Jungkook is just amazing.💜
I would not be surprised if there was a strong jazz/blues vibe in Tae's solo album. Especially given the type of music in his playlists (as seen on his VLives, etc.). He has a strong jazz vibe in what he listens to; from more modern styles, to the classics like Etta James. I love his taste in music.💜
Which reminds me, have you seen the VLog he did? Such a relaxed drive, great music, good food... And the Dentist. And Jimin's VLog is great too.💜
Sorry I went on so long.
Check also their cover *"I'LL BE MISSING YOU"* by puff daddy :) *BTS* cover
Btw YES they are all incredible talented. But For me *JIMIN HAS UNIQUE VOICE and His voice hit different when it comes to English and japanese*
It’s true! Jimins voice is INSANE and I love it
i just love jin’s voice in this
Same!
Fun fact: Jin said Blue and Grey was the hardest song for him to sing because it was meant to be sung in a lower key than he usually does.
@@carmelitasantos9330
Well then poor Jimin 🌝✊
I was there that night. Absolutely stunning. 💜
Do listen to Your Eyes Tell, it's beautiful. Strongly recommended.
"Blue & Grey" 🎼 by our belove *B T S - V* 💜, was supposed to be his solo album
in English version 😍
Do reaction to Suga & Jimin song "Tony Montana". You'll see the other side of jimin's voice. Thats so good
Taehyung wrote this song in English first, there is a version from their series In The Soop where he teased it.
Jose Ochoa posted a cleaned up version of it th-cam.com/video/-ygueig3Ep0/w-d-xo.html
Background to this song: Tae said that he had written it because of the pandemic, but since mid to late 2019 there were situations where you could feel he was not alright, he stumbled on the red carpet, he looked like an automaton, he also was very withdrawn.
The English version hits different and I think it hits deeper.
As for his mixtape, he has said recently that he has deleted all those songs - even the songs he teased us about on his twitter and IG.
I’d love a Black Swan full immersion reaction.
Plz react on jimin and v song 'friends'. Also there is explanation of that song jimin and v
Such a moving song…. I just love when BTS does their power walk down the runway ! Nobody walks a stage like BTS.
Blue and Grey is a Beautiful song. I love it. It relates to me in so many ways. Thank you for reacting to Blue and Grey. Love your reaction. Thank You John. 🤟💪💜
Blue and Gray as I remember was a Bside and did very very well in the charts.
I saw this “ Blue and Grey” and “Black Swan” performance at Sofi stadium. It was so beautiful.
The transition from Blue and Grey to Black Swan is so beautiful and smooth. I get chills every time 😭😭
Jk and V always rocking their beauty and voice
Always enjoy your reactions and your genuine interest. Thank you
I agree. jimin's lower register is amazing!
Funny how Layover is actually a jazzy album!
I like that you noted JK's precision as a good thing... A lot of people assume they're doing a lot of real-time processing to make him sound like the album tracks 😂
I stopped listening to someone the other day when they were certain he was heavily autotuned because he was holding a very clear straight note 😂
Anyway it's a tiny detail, but it's nice to see his vocal control being appreciated 😁
Love Blue n Grey so much. You must watch "Your Eyes Tell" It's a song the written by JK. It's very good song. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
That interview was so so good. I hope we can see more of those.
Yes to Film Out, a BTS vocal eargasm, and to Stay Alive, just gorgeous!
I second Film Out!!!
This is an incredibly touching song. I hope it brought hope to many who were devastated after losing a loved one in the pandemic. I was thrilled and moved that they found a way to incorporate it into the PTD concerts. Great reaction, thanks!💜
Thank you for the Black Swan bonus! You are always awesome, John! 💜
BTS in order of age:
1992 Jin
1993 SUGA
1994 j-hope
1994 RM
1995 Jimin
1995 Tae
1997 JK
The first time I heard this song, I startede to cry not knowing why. The lyrics says it all. One of my favorits
