So simple I love it. Your profile is everything, once you get a series X sign in and make it your home Xbox then your done. Transferring your installs is optional, it’s just faster then reinstalling.

same because my sister bought sims 4 on my account and bought a whole bunch of stuff for that game costing around 200 dollars and I've bought a bunch of games and spent about 1k on them and we just got my sister a new xbox series S and and I'm fine with letting her have it as long as I can keep my account except shes gonna get the sims 4 on her new xbox and shes gonna probably play it all the time and I play my xbox for the majority of the day so I want her to transfer all the data and things she bought for the sims on her current account to a new account but idk how to do that

@@nebula1075 supports up to 120 frames. Most of the games out right now dont support anything past 60 lol..and you need a 120 HZ monitor

To save your time Just sign into your account on the new Xbox and you have all your games I saw on Xbox Instagram that all your digital games are tied to your account hopefully this helps :)

I've got a question I did something similar to this at my nephew's house his wife help me transfer my stuff over from my original Xbox One to my Xbox One x the only bad thing is when I got home it transferred my games over but not my actual saved game data and progress that's what I wanted but it's basically saying I have to start over from new on all of my games I want to find out how to bring my actual game data with my games not just the games itself but how do I do that

Does this copy game saves? Could I play FH4 via external storage and have it save game to external drive and cloud instead. Then I could unplug and go back to console. I could use the external drive save then as a backup for when my game crashes causing infinite loop loading screen. As crashing during saving causes corrupt data? This would be a lifesaver if so

Yes it should transfer profiles, home xbox settings, and you should be able to start off right away. Sometimes you may need to undo and recheck the home xbox settings on your new main xbox.
External harddrive with your copied/transferred games and backed up system settings is the most efficient way to move to a newer xbox. Just make sure the external hard drive is compatible with the requirements of USB 3.0 and above a certain storage limit.

I have just had to get an other Xbox one s as my old one will not turn on even with me booting it off a usb driver off the website and I put fallout 76 on the new on all my screen shots and that have not gone on .so can I you use this way with a none working Xbox one or have I lost it all for good .It will power up and I just get error message that something has gone wrong with it and to goto to website's for an update done it no go.
