I'm trying to decide between this or one by Eaget that claims to have 1000Mb/s read speed. "ET-SU100" on their site. Any idea if those speeds are real?
@@ExtremelySimplified Yea and they all have metal cases...so not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing lol There's also one by Movespeed claiming 1000Mb/s
I have one of these and I was planning on getting another one. I am impressed to see that SSK undersold how fast the SSD is. The SSD gets so hot it’s painful to touch though when running it long periods though. (But then again I am very heat sensitive.)
Yes it does. I tested it and everything shows up like firmware, total host reads, total host writes, total NAND write, power on counts, power on hours, and temperature.
You can buy it from here to support the channel:
◆ 1TB SSK SD301 SSD:
amzn.to/3SiFhIL
◆ 1TB ADATA SE880 SSD (Newer Version): amzn.to/4d7D0rR

I think you're gonna get near the advertised speeds based on what I found on mine. But also consider the heat generated inside a small device.

It seems like a nice product and the size is acceptable.
It is!

Thanks for the review. There is a new SD301 Pro model now which is rated at 1000MB/s.
@@leighhaynes You're welcome.
theres another one: SD320 - rated at 2000MB/s
have you seen the ssk on amazon with 1000 mbps twice as fast?
Nice
I want one now!
Go for it!
The best thing about this product is that it doesn't take a large space in your bag ❤
Indeed! It's the selling point of this SSD.
Can't download my photos from my android. Maybe this is the wrong one? It said on the description it was good for iphones also...
it works just fine with iPhones as I tested it.
Can you tell me what's the problem?
Try formatting it first.
Does it provides SMART Data Readout ? ( Temeprature, Write Cycles ) Crystal Disk Info can read this out.
Yes it does. I tested it and everything shows up like firmware, total host reads, total host writes, total NAND write, power on counts, power on hours, and temperature.
Very good
Thanks
I wish you had the best flash drive.
literally what does this even mean
