i am sitting here for around 2,5 hours and every video shows the same steps and none of them are working. its really plugged into my pc, yesterday it was working perfectly fine and now its not.

i have a different problem when i plug in my earphones first i hear some random popping sound which is not very loud but very quite and the sound doesnt come to my earphones i have tried everything and the earphones are fine i tested them on my phone they work good pls help also when i troubleshooted it said that they are not plugged in even though they were i even tried different earphones i could find but none of them worked

Solution 4 worked for me, but with a slight change. Since I am using Realtek audio, I had to go to "PC," then "Manage," and then "Sound and Hardware." I needed to select the Realtek driver and update it to "High Definition." This worked perfectly.

if these steps are not working then update your windows it will work believe me, i have tried every step of different videos but at last i updated my windows now my headphones are working

Are you using wireless headphones? Mine had a separate bluetooth mode and a pairing mode. Make sure it's in pairing mode or it wont detect.

For me the thing that helped me with this problem was restarting my pc because now my headset registers again to the pc and I can hear the sound.
