Frana Preonzo Swiss mountainside

  • Dopo anni di attesa è parzialmente caduta la montagna al Valegion , da inizio maggio i sensori posati in quota all`alpe Roscera a 1517m rilevavano un aumento del movimento dei ca. 700000 m3 di roccia verso valle , si è passati dai 5 , 20, 30 ai 40 millimetri di spostamento per ora .Il geologo cantonale e la sua squadra hanno previsto lo stacco fra le 2300 del 14.5 e le 0300 del 15.5 ,alle 0145 è iniziato il franamento come previsto. La sorpresa è stata nel cedimento sotto la pressione del nuovo materiale franato della parte inferiore avvenuta alle 0630 del 15.05 .per ora tutto sotto controllo il materiale caduto non ha ancora invaso la vasca costruita a suo tempo per contenerlo .

    i could sit here for hours and watch this and love the birds singing in background i would pay $20 for 2 hrs of this on dvd to watch on my hd tv 9 minutes is not long enough

      Did you notice how it was a smaller landslide that triggered the larger one? Only the Swiss can pull off geological combination shots like that.

    Remarkable to watch the dust fly off the trees when they are first hit by the debris. Boulders the size of small houses bouncing merrily in the air............makes one feel very small.

      We are not short of trees in Europe. They are just a bit slow getting out of the way. A thing to remember when skiing.

    a parte la videocamera che la trovo ottima mi trovavo anche piu vicino per le riprese , purtroppo qualche strappo col zum ,ma dovevo riprendere il tutto sono attimi da non perdere se adoperavo quello sull` impugnatura è piu lento.per il Gottardo forse il mese prossimo .saluti fuma.

    Questo è il risultato di diverse ore di attesa e con la videocamera sempre in attesa se no si perdono i secondi iniziali .Ci sono altri filmati ma queste sono sicuramente le migliori immagini dell`evento . Aspetto la pioggia vi è ancora materiale che deve scendere e poi quello sotto dovrebbe muoversi vedremo mi aspettano svariate ore di appostamento ,e il commento su Giornico ..... saluti fuma .

      @@hkkhgffh3613 To be fair to the Ticinese, this wasn't about a single rock at danger of breaking loose, it was a big part of the mountain. It was away from the roads and most houses. This region of Ticino has short but cold winters, followed by hot summers and lots of intense rain storms. Erosion is a real problem.

    martedi il sitema di rilevamento è stato messo quasi totalmente fuori uso ma mercoledi sono stati riposizionati ,attualmente situazione stabile ma sono in arrivo le piogge vedremo ,è molto probabile un nuovo scoscendimento ad inizio settimana.saluti fuma.

    no la chiesa piccola ma intera hanno scavato tutto attorno e svuotato interno che era pieno di sabbia , dove uscita autostrada S Gottardo a Biasca prendere direzione per passo Lucomagno attraversare il 1° ponte a sin. drrezione Lorerio poi 1° strada asfaltata a Sin . 300 m e si arriva ,Olimpia era un famoso ritrovo in centro a Biasca. fuma.

    Ma la cartina è piu recente che la 5° elementare comunque anni 80 , per la buzza a Biasca franamento del Crenone era si l`evento piu importante del cantone ma ne è passata di acqua sotto ai ponti a naso verso 1500...visto due cose in merito , chiesa a Loderio riportata alla luce e fantastiche cantine sotto al famoso Olimpia pure esse recuperate qualche anno fa ,saluti fuma.

      You are not wrong. Lived in the French Alps for 15 years. I loved to walk in those mountains but a few times I've gone to places to find a hole where the road was or a car-sized rock across the path that wasn't there a week ago. Those mountains are always on the move. I've been told that it's about Italy moving North from some geological force.
