Oh how I miss her so, got to get a replacement, my poodle Romeo. was great, as well.

I'm so sorry your mini went to heaven. Our mini Schnauzer Meischa went to heaven August 11th 2017. She would have been 13 years old January 24th 2018. She had mitral valve disease and her heart was enlarged. I miss her every day and have been crying on and off for two weeks. Miss that spunky schnauzer
I have been fighting with acceptance that my dog owning days are over. I had 9 Miniature Schnauzers all named after French Chefs (Bocuse, Boulud, Pepin, Point...) I miss my little sous chefs and find myself looking at the rescue notices but after a day of self argument I'm alone. They were also a help connecting to God - I adored each and every one of them.

Hardeep O brought my first beautiful little girl from Germany in 1978. She was a standard and her pegigree name was Lexa from Goldberg she lived to be 15 and was a wonderful companion l am sure you love your pooch as well.
Snickers, our mini, kills bunnies all the time. She is a real terrier that control vermin like rats, mice, rabbits, squirrels. That's her job and she is happy being a dog.
Hello Kate!! I was born in a family where my dad was breeding lovely, kind, playful boxers. When I moved away from home to study in our capital, my first own dog was a giant schnauzer. I trained him well and suddenly realized what great joy it was, because schnauzers, all 3 sizes, are extremely intelligent and love to use their brain. My next two were standard schnauzers s&p, a male and a female. Loved to train them also. Lilja ( a lily ), the s&p couloured female, ( Lilja is a flower in my country ) got babies two times. It was great, but I didn't want to tease her more than twice. Then I had a male airedale, bought it from the best kennel in our country. He was so hard to train, because airedales aren't the brightest lamps in the box, and compared to the sooo intelligent schnauzers, I trained it enuff to be a good puppy but just for home. Also I had 2 german shepards, very handsome, but again...not my kind of breed. Intelligent of course, but they couldn't be playful, besides both of them were afraid of me. Why? I have none what so ever idea??? I have to say now that I never hit any of my dogs. My authority and keeping the dogs under command when learning new and after a successfully done task, I gave them thanks by tapping and talked with calm, low, friendly voice, that was enough. Training a puppy is totally a psychological and authoritary matter. My last puppy( before I had to go through quite a few back, neck and foot surgeries) was a black female miniatyre schnauzer, Maya..my poor sweet baby. I had to give her to an elderly married couple who were my friends, because of my 1# back surgery. Now I've lived without a puppy, sad to say. My dog fever is already + 70 degrees Celcius... sniiif sniif. No dog passes me when I'm taking a short walk. I have a feeling that people try to avoid me and spread the warning round the town. LOL... I absolutely LOVE
It was not a miniatyre schnauzer at all then. It's impossible for them to grow that high. Did you buy it from a legal kennel with papers in order? Or was it some of these shitheads, who produce puppies in a steady stream like from assembly line? There should be a law that owning a dog, no matter what breed, requires a "driver's license" and if they don't have that legal license they would have NO RIGHT WHAT SO EVER to have animals, be they dogs, birds, white rats - what ever. If they get caught having any kind of animal -> so shall they be put straight to prison there and then. And the animal should have a new home in an animal shelter!! I have no mercy when it comes to abusing children, old folks, animals, anything that lives and has a better right to live that those cruel, greedy, rotten humans. For what animal could ever abuse anyone? NONE, I tell ya!! Children, old, helpless people and be it any animal...they are totally innocent!! Totally innocent!! I've often thaught that the Mankind is the only mistake our God ever had. ( sorry..this came a little long :) but I'm very serious and surely not alone with my opinion )
We recently 'loved our third rescued Schaunzer ..more, have had them in our lives since the late 70's...really would like to find one the is an adult (mix okay) that needs to find a home that it can be re-homed to...prefer a female ....posted this on several sites that I have since closed because of rude heartless comments...we live in Coeur d' Alene Idaho and have a fully fenced secured back yard...our schnauzers were never left outside when we were not home....suggestions so very welcome...leave message on my timeline...blessings

Bessie Favell my boy, also a mini schnauzer, went to heaven July 24th. He was 12 years old but had been very sick. I miss him so much!
