    Man, do I love my JSX! Great video. Takes me back to my hop to LAS on their first day of service.

    Great video and glad you enjoyed the experience. I do believe I was one of your pilots that day - I remember your FR24 shirt and doing some filming. Glad to have you aboard and come back and fly with us anytime!

      wow. living the dream. how many hours did it take for u to get hired with them, and what did u do for flying work prior?

    I did two videos on JSX. I call them “God’s gift to aviation.” I could not speak more highly of them! Unfortunately, they don’t fly to DC where I live now. But if they were to ever start service here, I’d probably have a heart attack. JSX is truly what flying is *supposed* to be.
    Edited to add: I saw the exact jet you flew on, ship 265, in Dallas the last time I flew them.

      Hello ,do you know if they fly from Reno to lax? Thank you

      @@campari4467 Hello. They don’t. JSX only does Burbank, Orange County and Vegas out of Reno.

      JSX - The best thing to happen in Aviation in 2 decades, come on FAA, don't screw it up. We need these transformative companies here in America!

    Thanks for the video I love this concept of the big wide open hangers and less security last time we had been thinking about taking this to Phoenix and then a car trip to Sedona Arizona still a possibility and definitely would consider JSX thanks for doing the video it was cool, now I think I will go and see if I can track a JSX flight

    As always, great idea and fun flight. You actually flew within eyesight of my home a few minutes outand my brother's on the north end. I love using Burbank and now Santa Barbara, as they are expanding services up there as well. Anything to avoid LAX, especially these days.

    Fascinating, like a private jet with people you don't know! It was like flying was years gone by. I could see a DC3 on the ramp! It is a bit pricey, or is it in today's crazy airline market. Anyway I will vote no on the red strip. MY "private jet" would not have that.
    Thanks, Jim Smitka

    Great video Gabriel! That wah-wah sound you heard is an acoustical phasing phenomenon. As a young guy I flew light twins and a DC-3. When you heard that you would put your hand on the propellor levers (not the throttles) and twist your fist one way or the other. If the tempo increased, you were going the wrong way. Twist your fist the other way and you could eventually null out the phasing. No two engines are the same so as you taxied out at idle thrust they had slightly different idle speeds that caused the sound. It was especially noticeable on the old DC-9s on climb out. On the after takeoff check you would select engine sync. to eliminate it. Cheers

    They have just announced Dallas to Boulder, CO. So it seems they are succeeding with their model.

    Notice the multiple red shadows along the ceiling of the cabin from the red stripe reflecting off the wing coming through each window. What an interesting business model they are running. I love flying in and out of BUR. Getting on and off the plane directly from the tarmac vs a jetway and from both the front and rear air stairs, it's so much better and quicker. I like seeing the plane up close like that. A unique feature of Burbank airport. Will miss that when they build a new terminal, I'm sure it will be all jetways like Ontario is etc.. Great videos you guys post!

    Nice. Cheaper than I thought it would be. You know the saying; If you have to ask how much, you can't afford it. Or just look at the cars in the parking lot!

    Problem is, they really don’t offer many great destinations, particularly in Midwest or east coast and very little to Florida. Come on, Florida ( to and from) would be a huge market. Fort Myers in particular.

    Interesting concept. But I do not understand how the security check is done when you can just walk through.

    • @Ergzay
      @Ergzay ปีที่แล้ว

      Because they're legally not a standard commercial airline. They're legally a private charter airplane. A private charter airplane that you can buy tickets for. The restriction for them is that they can't have above a certain number of passengers, and they're right at that limit.

    • @Boamonster1
      @Boamonster1 ปีที่แล้ว

      Smaller planes get effected by turbulence a little more than big ones. A slightly bumpier ride but every bit as safe.

    I don't think the the "terminal" experience meets the expectations of the rest of the trip. I would expect more than a few hard plastic chairs in a hanger. I think I'll skip this experience.

    • @claycarter3535

      I think its their temporay solution until Burbank remodels it all and they can move into nicer surroundings.

    • @Flightradar24DotCom
      @Flightradar24DotCom  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think Clay is correct. But also, I'm of the opinion that if it's a two-minute, no-hassle walk to go from kerb to plane, the type of chairs and food on offer really doesn't matter! Not to mention that you can show up half an hour before the flight so no need to spend much time. To each their own though, of course.

    Useless airline with even more useless pilots flying boneyard planes which are dangerous and badly maintained. Let passengers beware!
