I have a Ford S-Max (European model only) which after 6 years and almost 200k Km is still holding good pretty well. No squeaks/rattles, no issues, just regular maintenance, it's the "Vignale" version which has good leather on the dash, doors, seats, etc. Hard plastic is on the lower side of the car though (nowadays even premium cars have hard plastics on the bottom part), but overall I'm really happy with the car, I would buy it again if they did a new model. Overall much better than the Mercedes W205 C class that I had, which was only about appearance, but very bad as fit and finish, so I had always the feeling of driving a cheap car (despite the fact it was more expensive than the S-Max)...
@vuckomrakic3760 No, I'm serious, German cars are assembled just terribly compared to this car. Watch videos about Mercedes-benz, BMW and Audi on this channel.
@Raphael_Valettine Jokes on a side, reality hops in... German cars for USA market are trash. Europe gets the best of it. But, now, even China gets luxury and quality over USA, at least with these German cars.
@@Vm94-p7u I livie in Eastern Europe. I've driven several BMW and Audi models and I can say that the region doesn't affect the build quality in any way. The cars assembled here are just terrible. I also want to note the fairly good assembly quality of cars from Chinese automakers such as Geely, Zeekr, GAC, Hongqi, Chery, Li and more. They were assembled much better than German cars of German assembly.
@Raphael_Valettine Well I live in south-east Europe, Serbia. You can find VW models on every step here, especially Golf and Passat. 😂 Those cars are just made for Balkans, because our roads are fuked up, holes almost every step. So, VW cars, and all German cars are high, so it's easy to drive across the holes lol
Somehow my 2011 Escape manages to be less squeaky and flimsy. Just about everything is made so cheaply nowadays, it’s sad. Yet, they want to charge more.
