Ben is another level of metal vocals. It's not so much his low growls, but the dynamics of switching up his voice and rhythm. He keeps it interesting unlike some metal vocalists who can be a little one-note in style. Absolute monster.

@@BeardedDanishViking No, he's right. I literally just tried listening to his DOOM cover and if there's anything I took away from it, that would be it. His vocals don't do much for me anyways, but to have that be pretty much all he does, I've always thought he was an overrated vocalist.
@@michaelbannan9972 Then you need to listen to Slaughter To Prevail, because that cover is not even remotely good for judging Terrible's abilities. Calling him one dimensional is absolute bollocks, no way around it. Listen to songs like Bonebreaker or Demolisher, or Zavali Ebalo.

This band is what I've been looking for in the Metal scene. Very clean and extreme drumming, always in sync with the shredding. They are not just "another " metal band, they are setting the standard. Absolutely crushing it.
Ben's transformation into Corpsegrinder is coming along nicely.

The opening was breathtaking.
This track has a lot of power, dynamism and right amount of the feeling of ''darkness'' combined. It is easily one of their very best tracks in my opinion.

This band needs more love... soo good. Saw in concert this year and it was such a great show. Lots of energy and they sounded awesome... espescially for not being headliners.
I saw them open their set, with this amazing song, here in New Jersey, in June. Fantastic show, with Whitechapel, supporting, As I Lay Dying, too. 🤘🏻

This has to be my favorite song by them. Perfect songwriting and a brutal topic, production, orchestral arrangements, vocals and flow, RIFFS, everything is perfect and I believe this to be their magnum opus.

Damn, the start gave me butterflies! Also loved 3:30-3:55. I have really enjoyed elegy overall even if it hasn't been my favourite album **cough** I've had Reclaimer on the top of my recommendations for 3 years.

These guys are so good. I only just began listening to them in the last year. I'm still not sure what the difference between metalcore/deathcore and death metal is, but Shadow of Intent just makes some beautifully brutal metal.
Not all that much really, just different packaging lol. SOI is basically a blend of technically savvy death metal and melodic deathcore. The breakdowns that are a key part of deathcore are blended so perfectly with the more classic death metal flow of the music that honestly, it’s hard to even categorize as being more of one or the other.
Saw them live last night while I was totally blazed and the venue might have been named hell but I was in blissful joy LMAO💀

Shadow of Intent has Dimmu Borgir vibes going on, all the melody, orchestra and choirs, NOT just brutal slams, but well crafted songs that are brutal but also very beautiful to hear.
