I want to show my appreciation to what is one of the best channels I have seen portraying the wonderful country of Thailand. I first came to this very area in November 2004, married my Thai wife in 2007 and visit Thailand from the UK most years. I fell in love with your country and people when I first came 🤗
Thank you for the wonderful itinerary video Khun Chun and Khun Bam. Oh, and not forgetting Khun Rung who is behind the camera, thank yiu for your hard work.
Thanks for sharing useful information of the area. In my past 3 trips to Bangkok, I have been never visited Khaosan Road area. After watching your video, I will definitely add it to my lost to visit when I go back to Thailand in October.
FunFact patonggo (白糖糕)is the white spongy cake, which sold by chinese using cart carry around yelling patonggo. They usually will sell cakueh (油条) and hamcimpeng (咸煎饼). But because the seller only yelling patonggo while going around, so thai people mistaken the cakueh name to be patonggo. The food served in video should be called cakueh(teochew dialect)
I went to Bangkok last month and stay near the democracy monument. I love the ambience, very locally, so many small coffee shops, not too far from Grand palace, wat pho and also wat arun. I’d love to back there and stay in khaosan road area.
Wow l Miss Thailand my Thai friend was bring me walk around there,n eat thai food with flower juice its delicious.a lot of foreign n very noisy especially in fron of the bar but l was enjoyed
We did stay at the 4 monkeys hotel also budget with rooftop bar and across the street ,street hotel same owner with swimming pool u can use and they have movie nights. Walking distance kaosan road.
I love your videos I lived in Bangkok for 5 months 7 years ago my wife is thai.i lived in Laupau can you give me a mention in your next video? I love the food content 😄😄
Thx for the nice information. WE are coming to Bangkok, and we have 2 nights there. Shall we stay in Sukhamvit or Khaosan. We wanted to enjoy the night life, parties and dance but confuse between Sukhamvit and Khaosan.
Thanks, I went four times to Thailand. Did some nice trips to nord or south Thailand. Coming back to the starting point of the Khaosan/Ram Buttri area, it was always the 'highlight'. The trips were very expensive, so, I think about skipping the trip and do a 'city-trip Bankok', hang around there as a base. Do some dayly trips. I am older than the average party Khaosan visiting people, so, more Rambuttri. What to say about safety ? I never felt it that bad. Well, the first time I was there I fell into the 'Palace is closed'- scam and it ruened a half day of my expensive precious days. So sneaky.
Sir, your blogs are very informative & we have learnt a great deals about Thailand. Is it possible to make a blog where to buy gem stones in Bangkok. 😊
Thank you for showing us these spots. I am wondering, I will be doing a solo trip, would it be dangerous for me a foreigner to walk those streets by myself at night? Thank you!
Where can we buy vegetarian Thai noodles packet in Bangkok ? Also please suggest for vegetarian food options in Bangkok - packed food or street food etc. this will be helpful for people around the world who are travelling to Thailand and are vegetarian or vegan.
Thanks!
