That Police Station was totally demolished and a brand spanking new building was created on the site. It was difficult to see what and where they were doing as casual observation was 'discouraged'. Still - not a place I would like to "pop into for a chat" whatever the circumstance... Thanks for the stroll an a reminder of what happens way past my waking time!
Has there ever been a bigger desecration of a once cherished backpacker ghetto into a Thai middle class hangout in history? Sheesh the kids traveling these days will never know how awesome KRS once was. Nice video as always.

I was a young backpacker staying on Kaosan rd back in Jan 1991. Back then just known as a cheap place for backpackers to stay. Very laid back,Not really the place to party, Patpong was the happening place to go back then to party
