this performance is like something from a spy film where they're disguised as performers distracting the audience whilst kim lip, haseul and olivia hye break in backstage
some people like to forget that the reason why so many idol groups stay away from immortal song is because the performance is sung 100% live with no backing vocals to rely on, just the background music and basic harmony. that means no lip synching. and to do that all while dancing a choreo you learned in 10 hours and be THAT stable the whole time. flawless. loona truly is the best 4th gen female idol group. this isn’t an opinion, this is a fact.
Not saying implicating that they're not talented or anything, I'm an Orbit myself, BUT it is VERY hard to get invited to Immortal Song for a second time. Unless the impact on the locals (audiences, the commentators, and other participants) is good, the chances are not really high, I won't say low either. The only most successful group that has been on this group is MAMAMOO, who, I must say, got invited not long after their first performance here (has a total of 14 invitations, and 3 wins, the only idol group to ever do so on this show) I'm also a Moomoo so I know, practically how this show works. They are undoubtedly talented, HOWEVER, there is no guarantee they'll even get another invitation since idols, in general, are not always invited to this show. I just think this fandom could learn more about this show lol so here I am, sorry for the long darn reply. Immortal Songs has that certain sparks, you see, it's a respectable stage.

The way these outfits are supposed to be for Butterfly promotions together with that red one during their Full Moon cover. Look at how gorgeous the outfits are. Also, they killed it with this performance. Yeojin center, Vivi lines and they all look expensive yaas
These were for Colors (or maybe Satellite) but not Butterfly. Butterfly got a lot of moves which are uncomfortable for them to execute in short dresses like these.
Vivi's lines, Yeojin's bridge, Gowon as the dancebreak center... this is like golden in terms of underrated member's exposure! Also, Chuu's ending adlib kinda sounds like Haseul to me... or maybe it's just me missing Haseul...
The thing with loona is, they are very good with musicality. Their choreos are built around the music, and not just based on counts. It can be seen in their expressions as well, they know when to look fierce, or when to put on a smirk. I have been so impressed with the expression qualities of Heejin, Lip, Yves and Olivia, but this performance proves that they all got it. I got chills looking at Gowon
LOONA REALLY RAISED THEIR STANDARDS HIGH THAT THEY TURNED COVERS TO MASTERPIECES. They respected "Love Battery" with the impressive performance. LOONA 4TH GENERATION'S NATIONAL GIRL GROUP SOON.
the fact that they performed this well without three members (two vocalist and a dancer) just proves how amazing loona is, like they are in another level
Now this is one of Loona’s best performances IF NOT the best. Literally the concept, the clothes, their vocals, their dancing... EVERYTHING was on point. I really wished Haseul, Hyejoo and Lip were there, they would have nailed it.
I know Kim Lip and Hasuel's singing with olivia's dancing would totally nail this performance but hey, LOONA did it while missing 3 of their amazing performers. Gawd i feel like crying😭

Gowonnnnn how does she make every choreography seem out of this world??? Yves is my favorite technical dancer but there's something downright magical about gowon's stage presence. Giving her dance center is genius. Vivi lines... I'm scared to get used to it, promise me this won't be the last time... Jinsoul and Chuu vocals, I live for these moments. Heejin Heejin Heejin, we live in her world people. I'm so proud of yeojin rn. All this said I really miss Lippie's vocals, twice now we've been without them. And I miss olivia's powerful presence and ofc I miss haseul (but I won't whine about that out of respect).

this is why loona is the best fourth gen group in the game rn. their vocals and dancing are literally unmatched. they're one of the most talented groups ever PERIOD. and they didn't even have all their members present. they were still this amazing without 3 of their members and now imagine the power they would have with the full group there. they're literally leagues ahead.

You know what, this song originally made for vocal-idol group called SeeYa but cuz seeya had an issue. The company decided to re-arrangement to be a trot song and given to Hong Jin young which was really successful. As a Seeya fan ... i ve always hoped to hear this song in Non-trot version and This performance, Loona group brings it up beautifully and nice arrangement..
I get that the line distribution was better, but why is no one talking about how Heejin slayed the opening lines? She is such a perfect center and powerful vocalist!

The thing with loona is, they are very good with musicality. Their choreos are built around the music, and not just based on counts. It can be seen in their expressions as well, they know when to look fierce, or when to put on a smirk. I have been so impressed with the expression qualities of Heejin, Lip, Yves and Olivia, but this performance proves that they all got it. I got chills looking at Gowon
