We need a real Garfield movie. Animated in 2d, this kind of style. Something that explores Jon and Garfield's life. The big budget Hollywood Garfield movies have no soul. (Havent seen the new one yet)
I can kinda see a vision of a Garfield movie but Garfield is one of those characters that it makes it almost near impossible to make a movie about him cause of how short his comics are and his personality would make it very hard.. But I would like to see a movie of Garfield and Jon how they actually met and why Garfield is why Garfield is now. From him being born in a pizza shop before being sold so the restaurant can keep living (it eventually shut down anyway) Leaving his family and gets adopted by Jon (he had the choices of an iguana, Garfield, and a rock yes I’m not joking..) And how he went from the little kitten he was to the lovable lazy ass cat we know now. And if they do make another I really hope they actually include Lyman how comes in as Jon’s roommate with Odie.. but of course we’ll have to see..
