The lore from Star Allies basically implies that the final boss from that game, who is essentially Majora's Mask on super steroids, IS Kirby...or what he would be if it wasn't for the power of friendship.

Its actually been confirmed that Kirby’s powers come from a ancient eldritch force called the Void, an unknowable force that is the expression of pure neutrality and impression, becoming whatever it comes into contact with because it has no real properties of its own, other than a literally all-consuming hunger…

@@davidburnett5049 Well actually, you aren’t far off the line. Kirby is a pink puffball. He’s a positive expression of the Void’s powers, unlike the Dark Matters and Zero.

It's nice to see that we've all accepted that, yeah Kirby's cute because he's a simple pink ball and everything, but once you think about it even a little bit he's basically a walking WMD.

The Smash Bros. reference is so true. Every time I chose Kirby my friends would yell, "Kill the pink thing!" basically taking all three at once. I still won.
I always chose Kirby. I still do. My brothers would get mad because I'd beat them so easily. 😂

To be fair, this one is kind of tame, design-wise.
We got things like a Titan with a smiling morphing ball inside of it, a self-splitting clown, something with an eye in its mouth, or a litteral eye that gouges pupil and iris out of the rest of the eyeball in the second phase, in older games.
Here the true final boss is a ball that summons smaller balls. The other final bosses are a butterfly knight and the first phase of the ball, a furry with ear wings, that gets two alternate colors.

LOL I love watching these! Kirby and the Forgotten Land is really cute, but it also has some difficult challenges for more avid gamers.

I'm glad you mentioned how there is zero plot. The only reason I play the kirby games is for the storytelling. There was absolutely none in this, just, "hehe animals steal orange blob creature."
