Just subbed your channel. I know this video is a year old, so I don't know if you're still checking comments. Two things. First, cane poles made of carbon fiber are electricly conductive, so watch out for lighting. If you hear thunder, it might be time to collapse your pole. Secondly, when you're in tight places, surrounded by trees and such, try a bow and arrow cast. I've been tenkara fishing for about ten years now, and I love it. Got a bunch of rods and reels just gathering dust. Looks like you've found yourself a very productive spot. Multiple species aplenty. Tight lines sir!
Thanks for watching! Unfortunately fishing in the rain is one of my favorite times to fish because I find the fish more active and less people and yes more danger of getting hit by lightning holding a graphite or carbon fiber rod! It’s the risk we take. I need more practice with a bow andd arrow cast. Can you recommend a tenkara rod for bass fishing?
Can you put out more cane pole fishing? New to fishing and it’s all complicated with all the reels and baits and everybody wants to have you spending money, I just want to bank fish to have something for some hot grease
Not a problem. I have more videos in the works for the spring using that cheap pole! I love fishing with it out fishing people using expensive gear. Thanks for the suggestion. Do you fish with similar gear?
Awesome! Would you mind sharing me the location?
Silver lake, Dover Delaware
@@thefishingpole5602 Thanks :-)

I also fish with a black widow 10ft cane pole and caught 7 big boy catfish this weekend.
We only have yellow perch. A nice perch is anything 10"+.
