I'm 54 and only been working out for 3 years now. After a job injury breaking both legs I had to rehab. So I joined a gym in San Antonio. After getting my legs strong I was really looking forward to growing shoulders. I'm not having much success but I'll try anything. I absolutely love your shoulders Erin❤

Many people would have given up after such an injury - kudos to you for working towards getting stronger instead! If you're not already, consider eating more protein for your first meal and last meal of the day (look up anabolic resistance). Also make sure you're eating enough and making workout progressively more difficult over the weeks... and don't forget a deload every 8-12 weeks. You've got this!

@erinstern5 YES of course Erin! I used to watch other TH-cam videos with males who I won't say but when I found you I was impressed!!! Today if I tell roid males in the gym where I get my info from (Erin Stern) they laugh. They even try to sell me crap...I'm not impressed by them. Keep the videos coming!!!!

I am a 75 year old Vietnam war veteran in generally good health.
I have watched a lot of exercise videos, mostly by male trainers .
I find this particular shoulder workout video as a workout that I can easily do
without aggravating an old military injury to to my thoracic vertebrae.
Previously, every workout I did, I had to work around my chronic back pain and injury.
Most of the shoulder workouts by male trainers have aggravated my back pain and injury.
All but one of Erin’s featured exercises I am able to do without pain or discomfort
Not only am I able to implement most of Erin’s shoulder workouts..
My upper back and shoulders actually seem to have experienced a rehab effect.
At least I have less pain and more strength in targeted muscle groups.
    Thank you so much.
    Love you Erin. 🙏🏽❤️

The “pushing away” tip is the best! I’m pushing 60 and I’ve always struggled to strengthen and grow shoulders, starting with some musician-related injuries back in the day. I started lifting weights again a few years ago but my shoulders were going nowhere. Saw you mention this “pushing” tip in another video a few weeks ago. Really noticing results, for the first time in decades!

I think it comes down to age, genetics, sun exposure, how well you eat, and how you take care of yourself. I’m 43 now, and notice gravity more than when I was 35 or 25 🤣
Not much can be done to tighten skin naturally. Red light therapy may help, along with collagen, and HIIT. Building muscle can help to “fill out” certain areas as well. Hope that helps!
