If he went through with it, MED would’ve determined the wounds weren’t accidental and IA would’ve gotten involved. Voight went too far ordering one of his own officers to use unnecessary excessive force on a suspect, especially one in custody or detainment.

@@Joe-qd6nw I hope it ends because it really has gotten boring and all the shows just have run out of ideas the biggest problem with PD is they get going with a good arc and it gets intense then they completely sweep it under the rug like it never happened and no consequences after and it's annoying seeing voight get away with every little illegal and corrupt thing ever watch the shield and 19-2 those are way better cop shows

I don’t think he actually wanted him to harm him, the threat of violence/torture is more effective than the real thing. He thought that it would elicit information.

Minor continuity error in the scene,
As the suspect leaves the building he turns around and fires a single shot at Anthonio. Seconds later Voight comes out and orders the man picking trash to leave the scene and run, clearly unfazed by the fact a gun was just fired a few yards from him.
