I have someone very close to me who went through this kind of thing and I knew it was bad but I couldn't possibly imagine the horrors involved with the dregs of addiction. As someone who previously struggled to overcome first porn addiction & later food addiction, I can relate to how difficult day to day life is with such destructive behaviors. But happily now thanks to therapy, religion, and family, I have embraced a healthier lifestyle. The challenges are always day to day, but I now look forward to the future without feeling as though I need these addictive behaviors in order to feel alive.
