From the start of trials, with 3 or 4 months the commercial operation start. That what we have seen so far. Patience of Bangaloreans is commendable, that makes us the best cosmopolitan city of India.
You need to see this entire process from business perspective. As mentioned above tender is executed by lowest bidder but that is only 60% to 70% of total demand, which is awarded to L1. Remaining goes other bidders. In addition to that, since CRRC cannot directly supply the 100% of awarded on its own, it had a technology tieup with TWL, which is an Indian company which will execute 80% or more of the total awarded order. This brought the technoloy, investment and resulted in job creation within India. So it is a win win situation. China is competition for India, not an enemy.
Because they were cheaper, but due to make in India they were required to manufacture in India, but they refused, and our babus slept. After 3-4 yrs they scrapped the tender and invited rebid but the tracks and civil work got over of phase 1 and it is rotting since 1 yr, still 8 months more it will take for Titagarh to deliver 4-5 rakes to start the operations
Collaboration with Chinese is not bad. That’s how technology can be transferred. But sometimes politicians go way ahead while speaking out in public, so we should be careful of listening only to relevant information.
Do not blame China for the incompetency of Indian companies. China has focused on R&D, improved their Universities and helped their companies be competitive. China has put in money to encourage their Universities to publish patents and scientific articles. Meanwhile in India, corruption is rampant and employees in CSIR, ICF, are only in the job for the fat benefits and pensions they get. If we were to rely on Indian companies to provide these coaches, the project would get delayed by another 5 years.
Its not so easy to define, "how China has grown rapidly" whereas India is not so ahead... India is a large machine with mix of tens & hundreds distinct culture. Operating a country with such diverse mix is difficult. Where as China is mostly I race, which is "Han"... my interaction with several Chinese people has made me to conclude that both India & China are not so different... & India is not more corrupt than China... both countries are at same level.... China knows that if India picks up the pace it will be a Juggernaut... So let wait & watch
@@alileevil you surely dont know shit about this project. Only first two trainsets are from China and the rest will be manufactured by Tittagarh in India. The project has a loan from ADB and as per their process the lowest bidder is awarded the project, where CRRC emerged the lowest one. Since we had problems with China, it was agreed only first 2 trains will be from CRRC, the rest will be manufactured here. Indian companies already deliver metro trains in India. They even export to Canada and Aus. The recent Sydney metro trains are made in India. so next time know some things before you make an assumption
@@souhardyadas924 Manufacturing and design are two very different things. The trains delivered to Sydney and Canada are not Indian, but are manufactured by Alstom, a French company that pays Indians less than a quarter of what it pays its French workers. So in other words, Indian workers are being used as low wage slaves to make Western companies rich. I bet more than half these workers are contract employees who are paid less than 15k a month. The Chinese on the other hand are involved in both design and manufacturing. So take a break with this "made in India" nonsense. Our coach companies have been dragging their feet for decades. I worked in a Govt company and the only thing people were concerned about was getting paid to build new houses that they can put on the market for rent. No one takes their job or role seriously.

Depends on rakes cause civil work is 95% completed just rakes orders and trails getting conducted means with 1-1.5 years
Since the trails have started, in another 6 months it should open for commercial operations. So in Jan’2025 it should be open for public.
