Pro Underwater Photographer Review XDEEP Frameless Mask

As a professional underwater photographer, great vision underwater is paramount.
Changing mask isnt a easy decision, even just trying something new as a bad fit, or color changes would impact my work.
When XDEEP gave me their new mask to try, I was really curious to see how it would stack up against the Hollis M1 I have been using for many years.

I also dive with a Hollis M1 with the same issue of the mask ring - I otherwise love my M1 but am looking for a new mask for this reason and have been looking at the XDeep. So your review was extra helpful for me!

Hi Maxime! Does your xdeep mask still fog? Mine still fogs very much after 10 dives, despite prepping it (burn/toothpaste)

It doesnt anymore, but i always use some soap before going for a dive.

Ordered one, don't like it since my eyelashes touched the glass. What do I try next?

I'd say the Hollis M1 is still great. But they had a change in production, and the glass is different than the old “Saint Gobain crystal” and the new one isn't as good as the old.
Beuchat also has a great mask (maxlux)
