Hi John, this is a great little lesson here man. I’ve been on an Allman Brothers kick for quite a few months here now since they used this hexatonic major sounding scale so much. It’s such a nice change from redundantly playing the minor pentatonic. Hoping you do more like this and thanks again man.
Great vid John. This is something I'm looking forward to learning. Love the new LP. I've never tried a '58 but thats a beautiful guitar. I know what you mean about balance. I have a '60 with that problem.
Good tips . Working on my Major sound trying to mold it around Beets and Duane. I’m in the habit of playing very aggressively in the style of Gary Moore . I’ll have to tone it down a bit 😂
John, I love the tone you are getting from your guitar and amp combination! Sounds wonderful.
Thanks! Tried to mimic Dickey's album tone on Melissa. About as close as I could get.
Welcome back John!
Glad to see your playing and posting videos again. Congratulations on your new Les Paul.

LEARNINGGUITARNOW< Try to make another video lesson about Dickey Betts Hexatonic licks and getting the hexatonic idea down
You certainly nailed that Dicky Betts vibe. Nice job👍
